I appreciate your videos! I just picked up a 91 wrangler that was abandoned. I ripped out the dash and am going to go with a flat dash like your because I to like the flat dash look. I’m going to need to do some wiring as the OEM fuse box looks like it melted one point in time. Glad I came across your Chanel. You got ideas running all through my head. -Ryan
I think it's a great start. I'm definitely working on doing the same as soon as I can fix the leaking when it rains. I have an Idea to place gauges as high as possible to limit the looking down from the road as much.
This is for sure the way I'm wanting to go! Glad to see someone else take the plunge. That plastic dash crap looks awful, it fades, its cheap and needlessly hunky.
Looks nice, could you give some information on the steering column mounted auto shifter and shifter indicator? I have a manual that im swapping to auto and I’d like to put the controls where yours are. Is that the factory setup?
Looks damn sharp, man. This is exactly what I’m trying to get to, but I have zero wiring experience. Would you say this is doable for someone just starting to maintain their 95 wrangler?
It maybe a little difficult but totally doable. It's very simple wiring. All gauges need power ground and sending wire. I can help answer any questions just email me disabled2able@gmail.com
I've got plenty of experience and I'd say that 12v circuits are (especially interior automotive on an old vehicle) simple enough for someone with almost no knowledge ( with some youtube fingers) can figure it out. It might be more labor intensive, but doable. Hopefully this isn't too late but make sure connections are super secure. Limit the going back under the dash to fix a connection that's wiggled loose.
This is probably a stupid question' but does the windshield defrost still work without the plastic dash? It looks like the old dash helped channel the air.
Yes I deleted the heater as it was having some issues, and having no top or doors kind of renders that useless. I just have engine heat coming in or not coming in depending on which way i move the little arm on the heater box. Defrost is non existent all the heat if on goes to my feet
I used the metal skeleton behind it to cut the flat dash to. Same size as the original metal skeleton behind all the plastic. It's been years I'm not sure exactly

Thank you!
Do you use the ignition on the dash or column? If you use the one on the dash how did you deal with the lock out of the wheel?
I use factory key to lock steering and custom key and ignition on dash to start jeep like you would a hot rod
