I’ve seen this video probably 200 times now !! Love it
Got the dmax, your front bar and steps! Just ordered the rear bar and after watching this I can't wait to put it on! Just need the suspension n wheels to match!
Good choice
Unbelievable set up. Just beautiful for going off grid for a bit. Suppose you will need a fridge then and it all gets complicated with weight and electricals. But for general weekend trips, you won't need more than this. About 30 gran later though I'm guessing. I would run a 275 70 17. The 285 rubber is gonna cost you a bit more in juice for sure. Great job guys.
Go the DMAX!! 🤘
This is my new favourite channel. Hand Down! Much love from Kenya
Go D Max on your way
I love this.
Sweetest dmax I've seen
sure is
wicked but damn there is some $$$$$$$ there
Looks sick 👌 what flares did you put on?
Ebay ones
Interesting mods, lots of cool addons, how much weight, without personal stuff, did you add to the D-max?
about 400 kg i think from memory
Where is the GOAT Rack? I don't see it on your site. Never seen it on your site actually... I'm blind or missing something. That GOAT Rack looks amazing. I'm going to be fitting all your gear to my Dmax XT... toro, sliders and rear bar, was going to add a FrontRunner tub rack, but now you've released this GOAT rack... that looks next level of canopy storage without the expensive and complicated change tub for canopy.
Will be putting it up on the site shortly.
With the rear tub setup is it possible to have a fridge if so which one and how does it handle dust and rain?? Seen canopy setups leak and let dust in multiple times even with upgraded seals
This is not a canopy, this is a rack, it's not even close to being sealed. However the roll track is pretty good and only minor dust gets in, so most fridges would be ok as long as their not too high
Jesus Christ David good video!
Are those flares a deeper profile compared to the standard xterrain flares?
I think they are the same
Awesome build! How much does the entire setup cost?
Depends, installing yourself or want it done by a shop?
Thanks for the quick response. Through a shop.
@@julesdirksevilla3246 Best bet would be to contact one of our agents for a fitted quote. Here is a link to our dealers offroadanimal.com.au/where-to-buy/
I saw the ikamper on top of the shutter rails. It is strong enough to sleep inside ikamper?
So far so good
what size lift kit did you put on to make the wheels fit and not scrape?
2" and trimmed a bit of plastic
Do you provide installation as well?
We have authorised agents all over the country who can supply and fit, click this link for a map offroadanimal.com.au/where-to-buy/
I just had my animal rear bar installed, now my rear radar sensors are coming on and off thinking there is cars next to me when not, I go to change lanes and it throws me back into lane. What's the fix with this? I'm taking it back to installer. I've hear needs calibration or installed left side instead of right.
Sounds like installer may have an issue with the sonar sensors. let me make sure they're installed correctly
Do you deliver your products worldwide?
Yes we do
Are those 33 inch tyres?
Nearly, 285/70R17
Link to the pull out tray?? Cant find on the website
Haven't put it up yet, still tweaking it
"everything you need to go offroad, u dont need anything hahah"
Have you ever camped or been offroad. Do you just hike out naked? Or are you guy guy stuck on the first track with no gear?
@@offroadanimal yes mate iv even taken a buggy offroad with no mods. Be careful with how you word things as alot of people have Interpereted it as - you need these things to go off road- not things to make offroading more enjoyable.
Any stock 4x4 can go offroad, they dont NEED these things to.
@@oak4894 so you sit and sleep in your buggy offroad while you live on what you hunt and gather. Mate you're super hardcore. Most normal people bring camping gear so they can be comfortable. But more power to you going super minimalist. I think me and 99.99% of people who camp prefer to bring gear to make it a nice experience.
Would you guys be interested in making scrub bars
possibly
Why cant i find the offroad pull out tray
We are updating the design, will hopefully release it in the next few weeks
No fridge
285 muddies on 2" lift? Does it scrape?
17:20 if the rear wheel scrapes I can just imagine what the front one does.
I have 265/75/17 on mine with minimal clearance.
What's your fuel economy with 285
12L/100km
A bit rich calling that a “bar” …… more like a replacement bumper.
so like a winch bar? hrm I'm thinking bar probably still a good term for it
