When i think about it, i saw this video years ago and since then this couple has actually set a sort of benchmark in my head for how people should be looking after their cats. I see a lot of cat owners that don't even like or understand cats very well and they make no attempt to understand them better, they just throw them some food every now and then and otherwise ignore them. Or they treat them like a dog or a human child and get angry when it doesn't behave like one. Then you see these guys and they actually care and want to do what will make their cats happy and they make it happen. It's obvious that the cats are their top priority and i kind of think if youre going to own 9 of them then that's how it should be. Yes it's a lot of cats, but they're cat lovers so the fact they don't have 10 or 30 cats shows that they've considered their limits as carers and only taken on as many cats they knew they could care for properly. I think it's commendable, I think its awesome to see and I wish more cat owners were as responsible and devoted to their pets as these two are. ❤

How do the cat people keep their place clean? It was probably professionally-cleaned for this show, and it's not always that clean. And surely it smells. I have never been in a house with cats that doesn't smell like cats and litter boxes. It is a smell that cat owners can't avoid. They can work hard to reduce it, but it is never gone completely unless the cats themselves (and their litter boxes) no longer live there. (I've owned 5 cats plus 2 fosters in my lifetime; never again.)
