I hope he recorded this concert for DVD because I want to hear all the new David Gilmour Music since the end of my favorite Pink Floyd! Love hearing David keeping the memories alive for all of us who grew up listening to Floyd from Day 1!!! Proof that things get better with age!

I was there Saturday evening. What a show!! The guy did not disappoint. Everything you would expect from David great tunes guitar licks to die for a cracking band. Special mention to Romany Gilmore what a talent is she!! A great evening with family. A treat!

You´re right, especially his voice doesn´t sound like he was young. His fingers play close to the old times, and we all know that could be the last of the old David. I am happy to have had the opportunity of listen to his music with and without Pink Floyd.

I knew when we saw him in LA at the Intuit Dome, this was likely his last tour. He still can play. It was so amazing to hear him. Yes his voice is showing his age, but I don’t care, he’s still amazing! No one plays guitar like him. Sending out much love to David, thank you for all the music of a lifetime! ❤
I saw him on a very wet evening in Rome …..soaked to the skin but very happy ……I couldn’t help but feel slightly disappointed that the amazing Webb Sisters didn’t do their famous forward cartwheels across the stage as they did for Leonard Cohen …magic !

I was at this concert, I also seen him in 2016 in Chantilly and 1994 in london. His voice is shot, he can't reach the high notes anymore. He does well for 78 though.
Maybe if this recording was professionally done it would sound MUCH better. Wonder how they managed to get most of it so blurry. Done by amateurs, both the video and audio.

@@brenproc thanks 💛🥳 I saw him in Rome 3 times, very amazing to see him, and while he seemed a bit rusty in fingers and voice, he seemed to get better each time. So I'm glad to follow his progress over each concert; as soon as they started in London it seemed already to be a big step up. This version is great, I'm looking forward what he can still pull out of the bag each night now the rust seems to come off.
If ever there was a time for Gilmore, Mason, and waters to come back together for one more Pink Floyd LP about the state of the current world, its perfect timing.
I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan, and David is the beating heart of the band........however, there were a few strange notes going on here. Not quite bum notes, but nowhere near perfect either. I'm not bothered by the voice being off, because that will happen. He has the common sense to adapt the song accordingly. Trying to hit all the high range notes would have been embarrassing to be honest.
