So sad that all these malls are just sitting empty. They used to be bustling with shoppers. I wish our empty mall would do a yard sale. You got great buys. :)
Those boots were definitely a nice pick up. I would not have thought the frame tool was so expensive, thanks for the tip. Y’all always are willing to try different things and I learn so much from watching! Thanks for taking us along and sharing your knowledge. 🥰
@@beardedthriftmachine yeah you could possibly scratch the leather if you don’t. Appreciate your content, you’re the first one to put me onto Dr Marten wonder basalm or whatever it’s called. Have a great year picking treasures!

We have a couple of those “electric” coolers. There’s an adapter to use where you can plug it into a regular outlet too. We used it when we moved cross country and used to take it when we went camping.

The doll that you are talking about in the video isn’t a Aunt Jemima. They were souvenir dolls from Guatemala and down in Mexico area. I have one similar to that in an orange dress with Guatemala partly on the dress.
I learned from a chef that if you do not cut off the root end of the onion, it won't release the chemical that makes you cry. Cut the onion in half and slice it up to the root end. This really works.
The sale in the old mall had so many nice items. You picked up a Napa auto parts hat. It was signed by Chase Elliott. Napa is one of Chase’s sponsors. Don’t know how much they were asking, but it might have been a good pickup. The chopper is great. If you see a Pampered Chef chopper, that would be good too. We have one that is still good after 20 years! We found that sweet onions do not make tears as easily.
Hi Guys, Your mom must be Italian because in Italy during the holidays after dinner the family plays bingo So by you mentioning bingo and holidays it bought back memories of my childhood in Italy.
Tell Kayla to cut the onion in half and peel off outer layer and let it sit for 15-20 mins, then run under cold water before chopping. It releases the juices that make you cry. Then, just chop like normal.
I was pretty shocked myself on that picture frame tool. If I saw that I would have picked it up just for the quality of the tool itself and the fact it was only $2.00.
My parents had an antique store as a side Hustle. They would take old magazines and frame some of the lovely art. They had the machine to make the frames themselves and yes that thing is expensive. Glad you found it
Dang, everybody's out there finding Patagonia! Between you and Dad Planet it's all I see, and I can't find a single one! Is that a normal thing to have a mall/yard sale in SC?
I'm a dog lover. Kiss that baby on the top of the nose from me. One woman on here said squeeze some lemon juice on your cutting board so you don't cry when cutting onion. She used a wood board. I'm going to try it. Soon as you passed up on Frey boots, I said nooooo. Glad you purchased them. Blessings Always
Man I only got about $35 out of my vintage Frye Campus boots. They were lighter tan, and didn't have the decorative stitching... No, holding your mouth open while you are chopping onions does not help! 😀
If you ever see that version of The Little Drummer Boy, and it's in good shape, please pick it up and I'll buy it. Where do you buy the Chemical Guys products?
Nice finds. Hey, when you peel an onion, put water in your mouth, I used to peel tons of onions when I worked on my dads restaurant. I guess you won't need to do that cause you got a chopper now. Lol.
I watch you and hairy tornado and NC picker and pro picker froggy flips would love to see all y'all go to the multi state sale each have 1000 and see who gets the most profit
Just be careful with using chemical guys car products with leather shoes. But especially older leather since car leather is much different than leather in shoes most times

Burn a candle by you when cutting onions or cookin even hot mustard. My eyes do not burn👍👍
Put the onions in the freezer for about 30 minutes before cutting. It will keep the juice solid and no tears
excellent info!! ill def do that
Great finds! Loved seeing all the antique stuff for sale. Frye boots were a score! I had a similar pair in the 1970’s.
not too bad for $25 =)

One thing about cleaning leather that’s a must… brush the leather first to loosen and remove dirt before washing.

That lamp behind the frye boots is to die for. The Frye boots are nice too but that lamp oh my goodness. It has a fiberglass lampshade on it.
Good finds. I go to that PF when I go to Surfside for vacation. That mall was great when it was open.
that was a good mall - and there is alot of people around - i dont know why it failed

excellent pick up for $25
If you burn a little gea cup candle close to where your chopping the onion you will not cry at all. It burns the gas from the onion. It really works.
