What??? Who would be smart enough to use all those hand and power tools in their trade yet willing to dump the entire lot for a mere 250??? 3 bucks for a fluke device??? C'mon! I smell a rat here !
I ain’t going to watch this channel. Y’all couldn’t even give the old man $300.00 when he made you that offer. Y’all knew y’all were going to make a ton of money on all those amazing tools! Shame on you!
Right on I'm with you on this. These guys are either making fake videos for youtube or they are garbage. I laughed while one was on his phone like he was looking stuff up. If you have a pawn shop you wouldn't need to look up those tools.
I feel the same way as y'all. Over $2K worth of tools & they wouldn't even give his asking price. And walking away to get your truck while the man was talking to you is rude as hell. You can tell a scumbag by the way they park. Notice his truck was directly in front of the driveway blocking it completely? Scumbag 101 right there.
I agree 100% this is why pawn shops have a bad name. I have been buying and resealing for 20 years. And if I know a deal is good I will pay a fair price. And more often then not they will call back when more stuff pops up. This just made me feel bad. Taking advantage of people sucks .
The man clearly didn't care and wanted rid of the stuff...you should have given him his asking...but the thing that I thought was shameful was that you wanted to back in his yard! LOL...y'all lazy. I know there was clearly someone already pulling a vehicle in there, but that was just L-A-Z-Y.
I buy tools ALL the time…and these were either stolen, or never his. 3/4 Snapon Impact was worth $250. If this was real…you got some serious deals (and negative karma to shake off ya) haggling over $50. Come on…
The seller set the price, he claims he uses it all so he obviously knows what the tools are worth. Honestly I think he is a thief, this stuff has to be stolen to sell that low.
no, it's not friend. its a piece of sh%$#@t that does this. its why i never go into a pawn shop... they rip everyone off and then charge more than retail and claim they are losing money.... hope one day laws catch up to them for what they do
I really really hope you went back to this old guy and gave him some more money .... Even stupid fake shows like Pawn Stars imply they wouldn't let sellers lowball themselves
Watching this video, the whole deal looks and smells very fishy. Kind of reminds me when I was serving in the military, and I had a brother that's a year older than me get into my tools I was keeping in my sister's house basement. The way my sisters found out about it was when they visited my older brother's home, they seen a pawn ticket on his dresser and read the information. They discovered he had pawned nearly all of my hand and power tools when he visited their home and was stealing the tools when they weren't looking. My sister paid the pawn shop nearly $600 to get some of my tools back, for the other tools it was too late! The tools that were sold in this video were either stolen or the man didn't know what he had or what value they were worth!!!
Yeah, you are probably right, it is fishy. These are rigger tools used in heavy industry applications, they have nothing to do in a suburban home or regular dude garage. Also, the fact that nothing seems to match would indicate to me that it was stolen bit by bit over a long period. My grandpa used to work in various factories and I found lots of excellent tools in his basement....my grandma told me they were given to him by his bosses....yeah... well... more likely stolen.
How many people do you think steal used tools, then have a garage sale at their own house with said tools that are easily recognizable? The guy probably retired and just doesn't care anymore.
All the people hating on here on the price he paid . That guy wants it all gone and didn’t want to have to carry it all in at the end of the day. He could have said no to the offer . This is business . Suck it up
Pretty amazing deal on those tools there. In my case I would keep THEM, and then just sell whatever crap I have in my own shop because those are the kind of tools your son will inherit, and most likely his son after him. Not like the "for occasional use only" chinesium-alloy crap they sell nowadays.
If those really were his tools (which honestly they are either stolen or he told the wife he’d sell them for what he paid for them lol) he would’ve paid over 10,000 dollars for all of those tools
Without certification...lifting gear in my trade are worth nothing....my customer would never let me use them. If you can get them to pass inspection, maybe, but generally without traceability it's difficult.
Total rookie move…seller asks $10 each for 2 items. You tell him “would ya take $10 for both?” And then hand him a $20…and wait for your change? 🤣 Hope you run your store better than you buy stuff! I’ll keep watching your videos to keep getting these laughs!!! Lol
@@lovemefeedme939 If you agree to the negotiated price, the fact that they had enough to meet the asking price is irrelevant. I understand what you’re saying, though.
Absolutely! Im not a reseller, per se, but I do shop.a lot of yard/rummage/garage and estate sales as well.as flea markets and you should always carry different size bills and CHANGE!. What got me boiling is that the guy j**ed the old man down ten bucks on to clearly high profit items.
@@lovemefeedme939 I once took 10 books to well known, (at least in my area), second hand book store . All large "coffee table" size hard cover books. All in like new condition. Roughly $20-$60 apiece. The offered me $10 for the lot. I told them no thanks. To which they very politely offed to, "send them to the recycler, If I really just want to get rid of them". Like they though I was born yesterday! I told them "no thanks" a second time and informed them that I would take them home and use them for kindling before I would let them blatantly rip me off.
The guy wanted it gone. Yes that. Was a crazy low price but a lot of work goes into selling them. You should have stayed at300. But it’s all about the haggle lol
Wish i wouldve ran into them wish they were my tools guy straight up ripped him off low balled the elder.you gotta show respect and give him a reasonable offer at least 300 maybe 400..dude a straight shark gotta watch out for people like that...ayy man!!If you see this your a disgrace..typical pawnbrokers aww man👎👎👎
There is a snake in the grass, and the old man just steped on it,. .and got bit... there is a defference, a hustel and a batrder ,and yeah you fooled the old man, you husteled not barrderd ,...not cool to do old folks..no offence.
I would have sold them for scrap before I let anyone take advantage of me like that.
Imagine getting the deal of a lifetime for $300 then saying the wrenches were rusty so you wanted it for $250. took it from him
What??? Who would be smart enough to use all those hand and power tools in their trade yet willing to dump the entire lot for a mere 250??? 3 bucks for a fluke device??? C'mon! I smell a rat here !
Either this was staged or these were never this guys tools
i swear it is a setup, or the man won the lottery and moving to Hawaii.
Tools probably burned their hands as they were touching them! 🤔
Snap on and 10 bucks dont ever belong in the same sentence lol
The Guy must have been a heavy duty mechanic at one point, those are some major league tools.
Sad day on TH-cam when you see an old guy getting ripped off for an extra 50 bucks when the other guy is set to make thousands in profits.
This is why most resellers are the bottom of the barrel.
I ain’t going to watch this channel. Y’all couldn’t even give the old man $300.00 when he made you that offer. Y’all knew y’all were going to make a ton of money on all those amazing tools! Shame on you!

One man's trash, is another man's treasure! I little vinegar and brass brushing those tools and you'll see the 24k beneath the grease.
you robbed them
YALL RIPPED THE OLD GUY OFF! SHOULD HAVE GAVE HIM THE 300 DOLLARS!!!
I got pissed multiple times, but they own a pawn shop, they're common scum out the gate, no souls the pricks.
I can understand buying something worth money at their asking price but intentionally low balling is wrong

U ripped him off. U should be ashamed!!
the guy told him the price, What should he have done said no I wont pay 300 ill give 600
Greedy,greedy,greedy.
Grinding that guy for $50.... 🤦♂️ smh
Agreed, shaeful.
You should be ashamed of yourself for screwing this guy. That impact you picked up first was worth $250.
Nah bro the snap on impact was worth minimum 350 used they got a killing from this haul
All pawn brokers are thieves.
You don't have to sell to those guys, he can say no

"lot of it going to be hard to sell ........rust and stuff" how do these sharks have a youtube channel?
Straight insulted the man even going lower than 300
Geez talk about a highway robbery

wow i know u have a bussness to run but u could of offered him 1000 buck for the lot you will triple it
Exactly don’t worry karma we’ll get him
Nah fuck that that's capitalism. Old man knows what he has.

Playing dumb on everything, you piss me off ,what else can I steal from you. Why you keep rubbing your hands. Money
Dude . That is insane . Wow .
Vinegar and Super Blue .
Great video . Thanks .
You didn't have to gloat how much money you are to make on the tools after knocking down the price which was a mega deal.
The snap on air gun was worth more than 250 dollars you got a hell of a deal
The weren't even slightly fair!
id buy that whole damn table too.. u guys stole from that man lol
Right!?
Absolutely,heaven of hand tools wow.!
Wow, that was a killer buy. Nice!
I love watching what you guys pick.
That was tough to watch no way it's real I would have told them to take you cameras and kick rocks
Awesome deal on the tools and nice quick flip on the bike.
Well, he is finished working with tools, I would have gave him minimum 500 maybe more
I really really hope you went back to this old guy and gave him some more money .... Even stupid fake shows like Pawn Stars imply they wouldn't let sellers lowball themselves
Good going on finding the Score of a lifetime.
I would of bought that in a heart beat
Me too
That was a great deal for all those tools! 👍😎

Could just be his. I've met many men in my life who have garages overflowing to the point I'd consider it hoarding.

When you get up in age you realize how much stuff you've accumulated. The guy was probably at a point where he decided he was done wrenching
I am going to have to start hitting my local yard/ tag sales now. 😂
First time I seen you and dad walking out of store instead of in.lol
I respect what you do keep doing you

MAN, YOU GOT $1000s in tools there, that Tap/Die set and Impact gun is double that $250, the rest is CCCHHHEEEESE
5000 dollars worth every day
Watta score!!!
next time you put a bike on a trailer ? you should learn how to tie it down, becouse my son? that is the wrong way
Wow nice score, hard to get Quality tools at a good price .

Cute little truck
Your mom likes the back seat
I would have bought lots of that stuff 👍
Did the old man dirty . Nice guys finish last and a close mouth don’t get fed..
What a deal on the tools .
Absolutely ludicrous the way you acted for the price. Knocking him down on his price for $1000+ worth of merchandise
If those really were his tools (which honestly they are either stolen or he told the wife he’d sell them for what he paid for them lol) he would’ve paid over 10,000 dollars for all of those tools
That old man is given the stuff away
Anyone else notice that giant ass Jeep mailbox in the background?? Thing is fn huuuuge! Bahahaaa
Dang I don't think you've ever caught as much heat in the comments as you did in this video!

Love it
