I made so many lampshades like yours. I made them with every concievable frame I could find. After cutting I lined the inside with parchment paper to soften the glow. Lovely to see again after 40 years.
Out of the 100s of crafting videos I've watched , I don't think I have ever liked all of the crafts in one until now. They are all so great especially the lamp shade
My husband’s aunt made a lot of those lampshades and I still have some in my beach cottage. She passed away before she taught any of us how to make them. Thank you for reminding me of my beloved Aunt Marty and for showing us all how to make this type of lampshade. 😊💕
Corie, you are a better person than me with the patience of a saint doing that lampshade I would never attempt to I am okay and I do have patience but that's a lot for me I would not recreate that unless the picture was different maybe I would attempt it but no it's not for me 😆👍... What an interesting hobby to have in middle school and where were you when we needed a new lampshade for our fisherman lamp. I loved all of these especially the sweater pumpkin I may have to try that one I have a dark orange sweater that has a hole in it.

Loved all your projects. My favorite was the lampshade. I did these 40 years ago. But I would paint on top of the print. for instance, holly wreath greens and red berries. I would get prints out of coloring books. I gave a bunch for Christmas gifts one year. But one year I was in Gatlinburg, TN, and went into a show and a man had the most wonderful shades, with sparrows and chickadees. I can't help it, I leave them up year-round. Did you make the lamp also? It looks like a straw hat material. I like to copy that one.

The lamp was something I did a few videos back - it's about 50 years old - my brother had it sitting in his basement and wanted to get rid of it (my dad had given it to him when he downsized). I love how the whoopsie with the paint turned out to be a beautiful blend for your coastal pumpkin batch! Love the coastal Fall since I live close to the beach with milder temps than the Fall in the Midwest I grew up. The cloth pumpkin inspired me as I have been afraid to attempt them on my own. Today I was saying I love love those tiny little pumpkins but what will I do with them because I decorate with them. Well, you solved the problem paint them spray paint silver metallic you name it and just put them in a bowl and pile them up high I'll try it thank you good job
