    Hello from Vancouver Island BC
    Think this video finally convinced me to go with the Sherman S
    Ive been riding only since June and have already put over 3800Km on my first wheel a V10F. Love it but range anxiety and speed addiction has me craving a new wheel.

      Tech is Tech. They can only get better through software upgrades, unless you getting the latest EUC. Btw they so called best are upgraded software that gives you high functionality. I reckon if you can't afford the new ones, you upgrade your or stick to what you have XD!

    Nice. Regarding 134-volt wheels, if you ride in a mountainous area or anywhere else where high torque is useful, you would prefer 134-volts because then you get speed PLUS torque

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand. It really depends on the use case. Did you feel such 134v torque power with the Master Pro?

    • @milordas
      @milordas 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      voltage does not giving torque, just speed. But at higher voltage, voltage sag not so noticeable as on lower voltages

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@milordas The Begode 134-volt wheels offer high speed along with the high-torque (C38) motors. For the ALL the 100-volts wheels, you have to pick either high-torque or high-speed but not both. Facts 🙂

    Can not wait till the reviews come out about the new commander. Commander looks good but hands down the sherman s is just so sexy looking. Is 100v good enough i feel 100v for normal people its perfect. If your a pro i can see why you need the speed of the master but for a guy like me 100v is still supper good lol

    Bonjour Ronin ! je me demandais s'il était possible de paramétrer un tiltback sur la Sherman S, et si celui-ci est plutôt discret ou violent ? Comme je ne regarde pas trop le compteur et que je ne fais plus confiance au beep depuis mon troisième faceplant, je préfère avoir un signal physique de la roue...
    En tout cas, chouette vidéo 😁👍

    Hello Ronin , bravo pour tes images et ton analyse. Je reste quand même septique pour la suspension. D'après Wrongway elle lui a déjà donné des signes de faiblesses et d'après d'autre elle serait trop mole en off road. Bref je veux bien croire que d'origine la Master est moins bonnes sur biens des points mais si on veut bien mettre les doigts dans le cambouis avec moins de 600€ on peut l'optimiser avec une meilleur suspension, un set up de powerpad et bumper etc ... bref question qualité prix une fois transformée, elle contera encore + de 1000€ moins chère pour des performances sympathique non ? PS: le système de suspension de la S étant propriétaire ... pas possibilité de faire des modifications.

    Most reveiwers dont like the "mud-bowl" pedals- with small spikes that dont grip shoes. Especially when wet. And they can't be swapped.
    Others question battery wires placed under the pedals where they can hold water.
    Also, there are questions about only the side panels holding the rider over time.
    Overall from what i read, it's solid, but not perfect.
    Hopefully these issues will be addressed.

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t consider these issues as of now. Id take with a grain of salt issues escalated for buzz. The wheel works fine, the pedals are good, the panels do their job..if you check my previous video you will see im quite transparent giving my opinion on a wheel good or bad.

    Nice, it looks like it starts to slowly sink in that the voltage specification says in itself _nothing_ about the performance of an electric motor. It will still take a year or two to become like common knowledge in the community, but I see the seeds growing. That's progress. And kudos to Veteran-LeaperKim who did not entirely succumb to this needless voltage specification race.

    I get its your opinion & impressions & that it might turn to be so. However to make a general statement that this is the best suspension wheel is just a bridge too far for me. Why? 1stly this 'best ever' hasn't even been released to our shores yet. 2ndly other than a selected few (some of whom have a direct conflict of interest), no veteran (pun unintended) riders have yet to put it thru its paces in the wild. 3rdly, only time will tell if its da best or da same as Abrams or somewhere inbtwn. Regardless I get it loud & clear that you like it. I too hope for it to succeed as competition only benefits us all

    Great review thanks. So I also am tempted by the EX30 vs Sherman S. I dont think it will be perfect. And am sure the Sherman S advantages u mention will remain so for some time, Specifically the best suspension and excellent stability.
    What appeals to me about the Sherman S is the lower form factor and lower pedals which likely provide the best stability of any EUC. I ride a Master right now which I love. Especially after a shit load of modifications (Fox Shock/Shinko Tire/ Fairings etc to protect euc so it's not fragile). I am ok with that because I like to tinker with my toys. 😂. I am personally choosing the EX30 over the Sherman S for sevral reasons that remain to be proven, but I highly likely to become a reality based on my experience with the master.
    What you say about the wind is interesting fortunately I dont usually ride in harsh conditions, because I live in Southern California where the weather is always amazing. 😂. We ride mostly trails with large elevation gains and extremely steep hills. Often we ride challenging terrain. When we ride street it's often in groups and we do enjoy aggressive riding at times. The aforementioned scenarios are where 134 volt wheel really shines. The top speed is appealing but for me not the main appeal it's the raw and effortless acceleration, Which I find particularly thrilling. The power makes difficult trails a lot more forgiving and just maxes out the fun factor. I hear you when you say the Sherman s is very torquie. If the A is slightly more so then the old Sherman but marginally so then that's no slouch but still massively less exciting then a 134 v system. I ride with plenty of Shrrman riders and so I am very aware of the o, d Shermans abilities power wise. It's no compete to the Master.
    I will be curious to try the Sherman S and compare to the Master and eventually the EX30, which at least on paper is even more powerful than the master, which is already off the charts. The master suffers because it doesn't have enough watt hours to sustain the 134 volt power hungry system. The Ex30 should solve that. My biggest concern reading the comments is that on the master pro the pedal adjustment equals the lowest setting on the master. I want lower pedal options for the EX. Hmmmm. I wish they had upped the power of the Sherman and it would have been worth the $4k to me.
    Hope to ride with you some day when I visit France. -0-

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Regarding the adjustable pedals on the EX30 i remain skeptical. On the Master pro, with the same feature, i feel like i got scammed seeing the lowest settings is equally high as the Master.

I'm getting the ex30.. will be much better performance for the same price..I value the best performance over the best suspension and the ex30 suspension will be the best begode suspension so far..the Sherman S is nothing more than an OG Sherman with suspension.. yes great suspension but not good enough overall to justify that price
