    Love the content! What transmission are you planning on running and how do you plan on mating them? I plan on using a mountaineer donor vehicle with an M5R2, mating them makes me have a lot of questions, like what adapter plate to buy, clutch kit, slip yoke, etc. any tips?

      @phelpsbennett4625 for a M5odr2, just use the starter, clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate from a 99 4.2 v6 f150.

      Use the yoke from your ranger, if it doesnt work get the yoke from the same 99 f150 4.2

    I plan on using the M5ODR2 transmission, not sure if I’ll need an adapter plate but I saw your other comment about how I’ll have to drill the holes larger. I am using a donor vehicle, what do you recommend for mating the automatic mountaineer engine to the manual transmission? I’m also gonna have to tune my ECU which I’m using from the mountaineer

      @phelpsbennett4625 the way you asked the question is kind of confusing.
      But an engine isnt automatic or manual, the transmission is...
      So when you put the manual transmission, u will use all the explorer wiring, but u will need to splice the NSS wires together from the transmission range sensor.
      The slave cylinder on the transmission will hook right up to your stock ranger quick disconnect slave line from the master. So clutch will just work

    What headers did you decide to run? And do you have a parts list of stuff to buy?

      @@phelpsbennett4625 i used stock 99 explorer 5.0 cast iron manifolds.
      I replaced everything.
      But the only upgrade i did was dual valve springs from Trick Flow. Part number 2500100
      If u actually watch the build, u will see i mention everything.
