My favorite character is daisy, Brittany Murphy is a legend.
I remember watching this movie a long time ago! Good movie 🍿
"What an idiot" You laughed, don't deny it.
One of Angie's best roles, such an amazing performance and so was Brittany's. RIP a great talent.
Make it a hearse lol
I didn't. I wasn't completely shocked bc she seemed like an asshole. But that shit wasn't funny to me.
I definitely did not laugh.
What a film.
The change in Daisy's face when Lisa said "you can come... if you want and be the cocker Spaniel that eats spaghetti"🥴🥺
She knows what she's going to find when she opens that bathroom door. That look - that pause - masterclass in acting. SO SO powerful. And somehow, knowing what became of Brittany Murphy adds another dimension of reality to the scene. I think about how much this scene affected me many times over the years. Winona (and the whole cast) at their best in a classic movie.
Angelina Joile(Lisa)was exceptional in this movie, she played the role of a sociopath so well, played it to a T, her mannerisms, her faces, her words, simply everything. Brittany Murphy was great too in her role, she was so messed up poor girl, mainly the fact she accepted what her father did to her, makes me cringe, just unbelievable. Crazy what mental illness can do.
all the actresses that I love ♥
in the book lisa has nothing to do with daisy's suicide.she does it on her birthday, alone in her flat.susanna and lisa find out at a special meeting to break the news while they're in the hospital.i hate the way they change things in films to try and make them more interesting when the books are actually faultless
This movie is amazing!
No matter the cruelty in Lisa's words, that it's chilling and callous. About 95% of what she's saying is the truth.
Truth can hurt more than lies. Daisy was not prepared to hear the truth.
No, about daisy liking it? Just NO. Lisa is a sociopath. She just wants to hurt hurt hurt everyone. She's evil and that's just it.
@@overcastskyline1747 the thing is there is nothing good about what Lisa did. Lisa has no right to do what she did. She's the kind of person I'd consider scum on earth.
@@overcastskyline1747 and who is Lisa to tell Daisy to kill herself? Did Lisa just decide that Daisy likes it when her dad does it? Of course Daisy doesn't like it!🤦She is traumatised and badly broken, and she shouldn't be blamed for what happened! I can't believe you would think like that. It's just cruel. Lisa is a person with bad intentions. Don't glorify her.
this looks like such an amazing movie, i wish i could see it
it seems weird because the oscars are such a glamorous and prestigious award, but the roles aren't always glamorous and usually aren't
Thanks SuddenlySnow for posting this. Great scene. I am going to try and see if i can find the "entire scene" from the time that Angelina (Lisa) and Winona (Susanna) show up at Daisy's door step (at her front door before Daisy lets them into her house). I have yet to see anyone post the scene from that point up until Lisa walks out Daisy's front door. I am going to keep looking though. Thanks again SuddenlySnow for posting this.
One of my favourite scenes of all time. Only second to the monologue scene between Sean Penn and Michelle Pfiffer in "I am Sam"
This is most definitely one of my favorite movies.
a well deserved oscar for ms jolie
I love that Daisy lies to her about the tub.
I can see Brittany Murphy as Snow White in Florida with her beautiful hairstyle. This is just the right star for this role . R.I.P.
really great movie! i have read the book as well.
i performed this scene in my drama class in high school, with all the swear words taken out.. i was lisa, i'd never even seen this movie but dang it was intense.
I reckon that these days every human in every corner of earth is either sad, depressed or desperate..It's the times we're living through. And Yeah,it's one of my favourite movies too!!
Her poor cat knew. 😢
one of the hardest scenes to watch.
such an amazing emotional movie
This film! :O Angelina is amazing actress
They were so right about the cat meowing at the door because that’s what my cat does when I don’t come out of my room for a while
Three gorgeus lady at the one scene.
Guess I don't need to see the movie now. Ugh, omg, that hurts.
