Great video Sean! DJI's tracking works well as long as the subject is never obstructed. Any time your subject is obscured by anything the DJI drone will lose you. Skydio remains the tracking king!

I agree. For me it’s due to how it tracks low and to the front.

I lost my Mavic Air 2 a month ago when I was signing a Surfing championship in Baja California Mexico, casually the tracking didn't help me, every now and then it was getting lost and suddenly there was a very big wave that caught my Drone, I just bought the Air 3 to be able to fly from further away and zoom to the surfers, however I don't see many improvements in the tracking (like insta 360 does with its gimbal) I think I will keep losing the tracking of them.

Try spotlight mode. Full tracking on surfing/ snowboarding is not going to get the shot u want. Use the telephoto lens with spotlight and manually fly it and it will be fire.
