That is the strangest look landscape I've ever seen. And whoever created that golf course deserves and Award. Unreal. Air 3 is beast! Flies like a dream. Any updates on the hand catching?
You can also use the auto land function to land on your hand. Or sports mode as others have said.
Yes I agree. judging from past experience, this will not be the last version of the Air 3.

Nice first impressions, DR. Looking forward to your upcoming flights with this one. I will get this one eventually, for the battery life, side sensor and RC2. Until then I'm loving my Air2S and Mini 3 Pro.
It’s price is actually reasonable. Can’t believe I just said that. 1k is a lot of Money.
When you sell or send your drone back you just take it off your registration list on the site. Pretty simple I have had to do it a few times for care refresh
Don’t forget, the air 3 sensor is not a downgrade, it’s got a new generation of stacked sensor compared to the older style sensors used
Each generation of drone camera is better than the last. Most people only use the bare minimum of what is capable in most technologies. Like the cell phone.

It’s a well thought out drone. With N2 it’s reasonable in price. 1k is reasonably priced now 😏
Very nice flight. I can see why DJI drones are one of the best drones out there. Seems like there are still some quirks to be worked out, like the hand land issue, but other than that, very nice.
I am pleased with the drone. It’s a great middle ground.

This drone is great if you are ready for a change of platform and you want to stretch your dollar in a good way
My Mini 3 Pro can almost match my Mavic 3 when shooting at night. That 1.7 aperture is a real light gatherer. Don't be surprised if the Air 3 surpasses the Mavic 3 lineup for night time video since that 1.7 aperture is now combined with a special night mode.
I love the smaller package and the charger is a great product. You can charge an Ebike with the batteries

We did a "baseball" style catch with the Air 3 and Billy hand caught his... To be honest, if you read the manual, DJI is very much against hand catching their drones so there's never been a "hand catch feature" nor is there a "new" anti-hand catch feature. Hahaha!
I did a video today, with some new protocols. DJI does what it has to to keep people from getting in the way of their own stupidity. People need an answer to the problem of operating in sand, rough terrain and off of boats...
@@DadRandom Personally, I still hand catch and have no issues. Flatten your hand at first until it starts down and then grab it.

Why do you cut them off? You not a side hanging bag type? Probably DJI should think of making a hook on and off type of bag so you can stop cutting bag handles. hehe ...
+@JoshConnectMedia yes. I usually put the bag in a back pack. It’s all good. Just would like a choice.
Concerns with the bag are dead last on my list. I will be buying a hard waterproof case.
I fly with my drones. Hard cases suck when going the airport.

My Fly Combo came with only one set of sticks

How do you change the screen brightness?
+@user-hz8tw7wi4y swipe down from the top of the RC 2 controller screen. The screen brightness is only 700nits needs 1000 nits of brightness as an improvement.
Wouldnt an Air 3s almost destroy the mavic line up ?
1inch 24mm and a 70mm as well for way cheaper than the mavic pro.. would be nice.

Yes you can hdmi out with the rc2. There’s videos of people doing it

Unfortunately, this solution does not work on the DJI RC 👎🏻
