Excellent review, love these, they're such a good driver's car. That engine is intoxicating, I think it's definitely the best sounding 4 cylinder engine on the planet, period!.
Impreza Turbo??? Awesome paint??? Original bodykit??? Tastefully modified exhaust??? Good quality interior??? Period correct plates??????? I think I'm dreaming😂😂😂😂, this is honestly one of the nicest classic Subarus I have ever seen! It doesn't get much better than this, fair play mate. That's a real unicorn car.
In my opinion theres no better feeling of driving an impreza. I made the mistake of selling my WRX bugeye estate in June and miss the thing so much. I'd love to own another one day. Great review mate and great car.
Excellent review. Not many reviews on these especially in recent years, think you could be onto something here. That’s a nice Impreza, I had the exact same one with a few mods, 342bhp, a few Upgrades and these are seriously quick on acceleration
I had one of these from New in 2000. It wasn't a prodrive. I fitted a full mongoose exhaust removing the cat and it had 267hp on the rollers at Uxbridge power engineering. That was the only mod I did to it, no remap or anything. It was absolutely mint when I sold it in 2007, and now apparently it's wrecked 😢
Very nice video also my dream car av seen 2 wrx a green uk2000 and all were rotten in Scotland these are almost impossible too not be rotten, i had a 2001 SF5 S turbo got 10,000 miles out it then the rear subframe snapped almost in half ! , sold it and 3 years later ive got a 2004 Red Forester xt Subframes been replaced went too Cumbria too buy it but the rear suspension turrets need welding so ill be taking it in soon as ive owned it a year and hasn’t broke down once i reccomend michellin cross climates as they are all seasons
You can change the steering wheel for a newer model (09 WRX/legacy) They are 5mm shorter in diameter, it's barely noticeable if you put one on top of the other, but the feeling is much better. And you can still keep the airbag.
What actual official color is the car?? It’s not World Rally blue pearl. Curious. The other current blue color for the current WRX is Sapphire Blue Pearl, but it looks a bit darker. Thanks! I’m jealous that we never got that model in the U.S.
I believe, it’s called simply Deep Blue Metallic, but I could be wrong! Shame you guys never got it in the US, but, you do have a few more V8’s than we do!

Enjoyed this, much prefer reviews of driving sensations rather than endless quoting of bhp figures that mean little in the real world
Mate, thank you so much. That means a lot! I’m exactly the same! Feedback is greatly appreciated!
Also they do understeer alit from factory. There are 2 mandatory upgrades:
Front H lower brace (the cheapest you can get)
Rear 22mm rollbar.
Again, great advice.

My dream car. Never could afford one. Good to get a virtual experience through yourself. 👍
So pleased I could! 🙌🏻

Good clean review, keep it up👌
Thanks so much!
Great review. I’ve got a T plate in silver that’s not seen much mileage recently. I agree the steering wheel is too big. What wheel you going for ?

Nice review mate
Glad you enjoyed it
How do u feel about using it as a daily?
Amazing if you can afford to put the fuel in it!
