    It takes so much energy to be negative, this beautiful Queen is beneficial to those desiring to grow long, natural hair using a simple remedy. The thumbs down is so unnecessary. Thank you Queen for the time and positive energy you put into this video🥰

      Indigenous Standz Never quite understood negativity. It’s human nature to not agree with someone or something at times, that I can comprehend, but to take so much mental energy to physically go out of ones way to let others know you disagree is pointless, what’s the motivation? It’s easier to just keep it moving. Anyway, you’re most welcome.😊

    And you gave me a solution to my biggest problem. Cornrows and twists are how I retain the most length, but my ends always tangle, the gel on the ends is life saver.

    • @diamonddaniel4423
      @diamonddaniel4423 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      The flaxseed gel is genius! I was just thinking about this the other day when I was sealing the ends of my natural hair ( I use the L.O.C. method and then braid my hair in 6 plaits). The issue that I was having was the ends getting tangled also. I did not want to use a commercial sealer/gel but I MUST give the flaxseed gel a try. I wish she would do a full length check tutorial and blow/flat iron her hair.

    I love you! Simple natural products provided by nature. As a child I had butt length hair because my grandma used only things found in nature on my hair (aloe, cactus, coconut milk and oil, castor oil). I have returned to my roots and am watching my hair thrive and grow. Thank you for being Unapologetically you ..NATURAL and BEAUTIFUL! Cantu what??? Denman Brush where???🤣. You are proof positive that our hair will thrive and grow without all the crazy products and the fuss.

    So why did you use the Aloe gel instead of the flax seed gel to retwist the front/edges of your hair?

    • @IndigenousStrandz11
      @IndigenousStrandz11  5 ปีที่แล้ว +48

    You have inspired me to spend more time on myself. My hair comes to the middle of my butt and I absolutely dread doing my hair because it takes so long. I’ve even cut it so it can stay at that length to avoid doing more hair. Smh. I used to do twists and it made my life so much easier. Just tied a scarf on every night and called it a day. I’m going back to that. Thanks for this video. 🙌🏾

      Guuurl thank you! I know right every time I'm twisting my hair I watch a video and then I have to keep finding other videos but my hands be so oily so I got to get my phone or oily and I'm like damn I wish I could just find a long video and then to I like to get everything out that I know cuz I don't want to miss something so that's my videos r long😂😂😂

    Super informative! Thanks so much for the detailed peak into your regimen for length retention! 💯🏅🏆Simple ingredients and consistency! 😁👍 I've added jbco to my ends and switched lily of the dessert aloe gelly for a DIY fresh okra & aloe "smoothie". I have fine, thin hair so I "stack" in 12 chunky sections & rock a high puff daily. I spritz my scalp AM w/aloe juice and PM w/ my DIY hyrdo juice. I pineapple, use a silk scarf, bonnet & satin pc at night. It may be overkill but I feel fully protected in case of slippage! My scarves are my friend too! We go everywhere together! 🤗❤ #strandztribe 🙌

  • @EVERBABYGIRL
    @EVERBABYGIRL 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If you put baby powder or flour on your oily shirts before you wash it, it will wash out. The trick is the powder stops the oil from sitting and staining but it must be put on prior to washing. I love using oil in my hair too. Hope this helps:)
