On the daily (more like every few days) I still have my Aloe Vera that I spray on my scalp and hair, I now cheat with Design Essentials Oil (they are light and don’t run down or stain your stuff) and flax seed gel. My hair is well on its way to bra length. It is the longest it had ever been. ❤️ I do give up ok my twist get blow outs and sometimes just laziness but I always go right back. I just took some down today that I have had in for 4 weeks. Time to wash and deep condition (LOL)

      I got mine at a store called roses in my area at a good price but when I returned the hair care product, they would not accept it back because it had obviously been open. Well their policy doesn't say that you can't return something nor did they tell me that verbally when I purchase the item, however, I returned another hair cream that I did stick my fingers in to try and did not like and one of their comments was, regarding the product that had been obviously open, was that they couldn't put it back on the Shelf if it had been open but not knowing, they put the product back on the Shelf for someone else to buy. That's not what I thought would happen having worked in stores before, personal products or placed in returned and damaged merchandise and they either return it to the manufacturer or write it off on taxes. After finding that out I thought my Lord maybe I didn't like the product because someone else purchased it used it all up and replaced or we fill the jar with something else so that they could get their money back for product they actually used. So next time I got my castor oil I went to Sally's and their bottles or sealed and they will accept merchandise back and it's never placed back on the shelf for someone else to purchase.

    • @sunnyedaize1262
      @sunnyedaize1262 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      She has her own routine that she's been following for years.
      If you want to try rice water do your research. There's a video of the Yao women where this started, watch it. Stay away from brown rice (high arsenic), and try to get rice grown in India. Basmati has the lowest arsenic content. Do not use rice water as a leave in or if your hair is protein sensitive. Wash your hair with it and rinse it out with cool water.

    • @sable7114
      @sable7114 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@sunnyedaize1262 good advice because I never thought about rice having protein. If someone Cooks rice I want my meat or beans for protein. I frankly believe the key to hair growth is not growth because hair is going to grow regardless but maintaining what you have grown so I would strive for healthy hair and taking care of those ends so it doesn't break. Keep it moisturized as I sit here with parched hair and need to get up and go do something about that. I'm living in an area that had triple digits temperature for the past 6 days.

      I would say it depends on what length you start at, how long your neck is, and how long your torso is as well as from ways to the top of your thigh joints. My neck at the back and the front is probably 2in if even that so shoulder length hair takes me no time. My torso is shorter from shoulder to waist. I started my my naturalhair Journey with shoulder blade length hair transitioning and learning and it's been just under three years and about 6 in of breakage but my hair is still waist-length, with knowing how to care for my hair and no breakage I think it would have been right at my tailbone which blows my mind given the fact that I didn't know how much chemicals damaged my hair. Estimate about 5 to 6 in per year if you are not trimming your hair or causing damage but you may have to figure in genetics as well as far as the speed of growth. Good luck, you will make it there.
