I think it could work being a wheelchair bound adventure or horse bound as long as you were a spell caster or you were not in a cave or dungeon with a horse I think it can have good narrative weight like Ivar the Boneless from. I think someone trying to overcome there disability can be a good plot point.
WheelchairDNA has a vid of doing pullups in a wheelchair so I think it can be done that is going up walls in a wheelchair now for full on melee class that can be a bit hard in a dungeon true now in the over world being on a horse can work.
Other then that I think it would be a good idea not to go after the physical appraise as thats just a ad hominem it doesn't help your anticommunist point as people are just going to hide behind your uses of personal attacks and make people who do agree with most of what you say not work with you.

Hi Tomsaige! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment!
I disagree about the horse travel being a very viable option; if the player was ever dismounted by an enemy (a common occurrence in cavalry warfare), that would essentially be game over. I do agree that the idea of someone trying to overcome an injury is a great springboard for a story! But I don't think that's what the designers have in mind with their combat wheelchairs. They seem to clearly be suggesting that a permanently disabled person, forever confined to a wheelchair, would be viable in an adventuring context.
That's crazy impressive about WheelchairDNA being able to do that, man! But climbing sheer surfaces and doing pullups are very different. Try going to a wall climbing place sometime, and then starting from a sitting position, pull yourself up the wall with only the strength of your hands and forearms. Remember, don't use your legs at all for any sort of advantage - they are dead weight only and cannot be placed for footing. After attempting this, you will begin to see what I mean here. Then, factor in the heavy wheelchair, plus weapons, plus armor, plus a travel bag, plus any gold the player may be carrying, and this makes an impossible situation completely unthinkable. Then to think that a person could perform such a feat, and be able to fight afterward, and you see what I mean.
I hear what you're saying about me denigrating the physical appearance of the wokies in the video, however I believe I am justified in this because the ugly way that they choose to present themselves in is absolutely a symptom of their ideology, which ties into their whole interest in this issue in the first place. By highlighting this, it makes even clearer the absurdity of the whole thing.
Thanks for dropping in, my friend!

@@ryannilsson7955 I get your point in how there setting it up as a permanent thing and I think its kind of dumb if there in a high magic world they would rather get a magical wheelchair vs healing there legs or even in a low magic setting someone like that would have a hard time not dyeing.
As a melee class now maybe a archer with quick draw but a wheelchair bond barbarian is a both sad and absolutely hilarious concept. They really could not do a lot now let's say there movement speed is 25 or even 20 with quick draw.
And let's say as a matter of fact that the center of gravity would be lower then a standing person anything larger and stronger then a human will have a field day with that person if they fall prone now if you were being generous and they could get special feat that allows them to fight prone or funny enough make them a grappler.
They would have a better chance of making it now if you and the player know that they will be targeted as a weak link in a group and there ok with the consequences of that up and including perms I think its OK dumb for sure though.
Fun fact Jean de Maingre (ca. 1366-1421), known as Maréchal Boucicault, who, in full armor, was able to climb up the underside of a ladder using only his hands and he recommended knight train to do so.

Video fairly quickly became a lot less about the game and its mechanics. There's a lot you could actually say about a system like this but you didn't and its a shame. A low magic campaign especially if you use lasting injuries in your campaign has a lot of opportunities for peg legs and crutches and in maybe extreme circumstances a wheelchair. On the otherside, a very high fantasy world could potentially have like an artificer make up bodily limitations with magical technology. Focus more on the actually content in the game and how it interacts with standing rules rather than talking about marxism and gender the whole video.

Hi Shirosuemori, thanks for dropping in! You're right that this video was more concerned with game MENTALITY than it was with game MECHANICS. I chose to go that path because I just don't feel like the subject merits serious consideration or discussion for usefulness in the game. I get what you're saying about an injured player working through a recovery. But if a player is permanently disabled where they were confined to a wheelchair, then they should really be considered retired from adventuring. The discussion about Marxism and gender was necessary because it is integral to the topic of why this is even a thing at all. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment, my man!
