Now that you’ve done this “5 Days in a Row” series, could you make a follow up, maybe in 30 days or so, to show us what you bought that has sold, and what profit you have made, so that we can see your actual ROI after the 30-day period? That would be a truer indication of how you did. Thanks for giving this idea some thought!
I'd watch that. I've been doing some minor reselling on the side (mainly eBay) and this is a nice thing to watch. Nice to get an understanding of what to look for, whether it is in your niche or not.
I have kept all of them sealed up that ai have been buying for months. Im about ready to do a massive opening of all the baggies and make a video of all the cool things I find, with their values.
I am so glad I have found your channel, except it takes me twice as long to thrift shop now lol. Now I scan things to see value, and I am have only resold things 2 times.
Do you normally not go to the same thrift stores everyday? I have a route where I hit up the same five thrift stores almost daily and I'm wondering if there's a better strategy. Thanks!
Wow!! Skylanders for a #1$1.00 a piece or less. Not bad. I wish the thrift stores would sell them for that cheap or less here. I;ve seen them as high as $5.99 each figure in some stores and they were common ones at times too. I tend to sell more of them on Poshmark and Facebook marketplace then anywheres else because they are too expensive to ship here. Do you sell them loose better on Ebay or Amazon or elsewhere?
I would probably sell them on Ebay, Ive never bought loose ones before. I suppose I would check Amazon first though, but I dont know if it would be better to lot them up or sell individually. I honestly still dont know the value of them. They are sitting in a bag somewhere lol
@@ThriftSchool I do okay with them on Poshmark because people on there can pay one shipping cost for as many items as they want to get and get 20% from me when they buy 3 or more of them from me. Poshmark is cheaper for shipping then most other options. I haven't even looked what they sell for on Amazon. I think they would be cheaper to ship in bulk on Ebay too because it's do bundling well.
People new to Amazon selling are going to be disappointed when they see that they are restricted from selling all/most of these items on Amazon without getting ungated by every single brand owner, one at a time by uploading copies of invoices etc. I see your first thrift haul video is 9 years old. My Amazon seller account is 9+ years old and I get the restricted popup, even for things I'm approved to sell so it wastes more time checking the approval. Did you buy an account? You're ungated in DVD, Lego FFS. Seems you're restricted on nothing. Are you ungated in Nike too? People trying to jump on Amazon now for selling thrifted stuff really missed the boat. Fees, restrictions, damaged stuff, and many other headaches.
I signed up on Amazon. Not welcoming for new people who want to make money. Restrictions on almost everything. No way to start without upfront costs to buy items to get invoices. Just to start even as a part time is frustrating. His account is old so he can sell items newer people can’t
I got ungated in DVD by ordering 10 of the cheapest movies from Christianbooks. I got ungated in Lego by ordering 10 $5 Star Wars/Lego minifigs. It's possible.
You gotta look for arbitrage opportunities through keepa or data. You should be studying ways to make money on like tickets. Not looking for Pennies at goodwill.
I'm 30, don't live at home, make enough on amazon/ebay to where I just bought a house, plus I have enough inventory to comfortablely sustain me for years. I keep sourcing and showing people how they can do this too (for free) because I like helping people and working alone gets lonely so I enjoy talking with everyone in the comments. Even people who are rude.
@@ThriftSchool you didn’t buy no house on eBay and Amazon income. I’ve seen the stuff you sell and know the market well. It’s mostly junk. Your shirts sit for years. Goodwill and thrift shops are saturated market where good things can sit for months. Thanks for wanting to argue with someone who has done it longer than you

7:22 I've noticed on the lego box that it has some slight box damage on the top left corner front part. I wouldn't list it as new
Love the daily uploads all week. ❤
Thank you!
When showing us the movies, your hand is shaking. Must be that triple expresso mocha coffee 😅
Lol. I actually don't even drink caffeine
He’s just quaking with thrifting excitement
His dopamine levels going through the roof ! 🤪
Have you sold all your coleman lanterns? Would be nice to see another what sold video. Or an update on your media pallets.
I've sold a bunch of them. I have about 40 left. 20 or so are listed and the other 20 have been sitting in storage lol
I love show your videos everyday and I enjoy them to ❤❤❤
Im glad to hear it!
Great videos all week - thanks! Can you show the process of setting up and taking pictures of your toy lots? Would be good to see. Thanks.

Oh great! I'm glad :) thank you so much
3:36 I found a skylander bag just like that and made some great money. Almost 10x my money
oo awesome! I hope I do too
There is an elite slam bam. The blue with four arms and gold base. It is worth more than $10 alone
In the beginning when you were walking down the sheet section I saw a batman sheet not sure if it was a set don't sleep on the bedding section
I thought that cart full of DVDs at first was all the ones you found and you were about to show us lol
haha! I wish, that would have been amazing
Fun series!!!!!
Thanks!

Yey!!! This is really fun...
I thought so also :)
3:15 Pokémon
The Gingy happy meal toy in that bag goes for around $10
Nice!
You will have to let us know your total profit from this experiment. We seen the comps but let us know how well the outcome was.
It'll take a bit for everything to sell, but I'll try my best :)
i wouldn't buy that tiny little lego box for $8
👍

I can see how you would lose your ass off on tickets but ok whatever floats ya
@@jray0717 actually there is data you can use and the profits aren’t $5 and 6 month holding times for a dvd
This guy has to be well into his 30s now and still trying to pick up Pennies at goodwill and store junk at his moms house. It’s just getting weird

Nobody saying first 😮
