- Hi Everyone! My name is Andi Jenkins and I’m a chai-fueled thrifter, vintage reseller and interior stylist. All Put Together is where I share my latest thrift hauls and styling tips. In today's episode, I'm taking you to my local Goodwills, thrifts stores and an amazing antique mall. I spent a whole day shopping for vintage treasures and I can't wait to show you what I find! I also went to an outdoor flea market and will show you all the amazing things I got during that shopping trip too.

The ornate carved wood piece may be an opium bed. I have sold two years ago. Some customers shy away from them, but others are drawn into what might've occurred in the bed's past. Love the rug and the two paintings.
Hang the needlepoint on the wall! It's epic! Use a curtain rod?
I was really happy to see you picked up the sweet little ceramic with the cork. I agree $10 may have been a little high (Goodwill's prices are crazy these days) but when you showed the vignette with the moody painting, I thought it looked great.
I’m not sure when she actually shot this video but it was a purple tag and may have been the half off color
I originally thought she left it behind & felt sad. Glad it reappeared. It's lovely.
I have been watchinf people thrift in goodwill and old videos everything pottery was dirty cheap, 1,99, 0,99, maximum 2,99 ... Many people start buying pottery cuz sell well... Boom suddendly the prices go from 3,99 on going ... Goodwill is almost as Big brother watching every move and increase prices after seeing what is selling more

Love the rug! The pocket on the back is for a rod or dowel so it can hang on the wall. That needlework stool is so outstanding!

Commenting again because I think somehow TH-cam deleted my comment: In case no one has told you goodwill is a 14(c) certificate holder. Meaning they can pay their disabled workers sub minimum wage (sometimes as low as 25 cents an hour) so you should just be aware of that if you’re going to start sourcing there more ❤
Our Goodwills and thrift shops, here in Montgomery, Alabama are tired, dusty, old and smelly. I wish we had stores like you have in and around Portland!

Do you need a blacklight to check the clear glass for uranium?
For those "ugly" welds on the metal candle holders ... you can spray them with brake cleaner or some other noxious substance, set them on fire and let them blacken ... then wipe off as much as you want and spray them with clear coat to keep the patina you like.

Hello, does it have to be solid brass , or can it be brass plated
Either I find sells well. But the plates has to be good quality. Not the cheap yellow finish.
I really liked the things you found. I think some of the video edits were a little abrupt like after you found the needlepoint framed picture...what was it? did you buy it?

Does the flower market have a large selection of rooted plants (looks like they have lots of succulents)?
It’s mostly for people using plants as decor rather than landscaping, but they do have rooted plants like hostas. You could definitely go and check it out and then decide if you want a membership or not.

If you are selling worldwide on Etsy, how do you do it with shipping included? 20:25. I just knew you were leaving behind that corked vessel and then I see it in your staging. That was my favorite pick up, other than the first planter you showed. $10 is a lot, but sometimes you have to grab things even if they don't have that much of a profit margin. 20:50 A landscape painting. (pun intended)
Great haul as usual Andi! Did you buy succulents? I only noticed them at the beginning.
Andi, even without a lid the ceramic salt box are highly sought after and sell for a great margin.
The rug is fabulous. Can't wait to see what you will do with it. It looks big, so probably better to use it as rug. ❤😊

I use mine for costume jewelry. If you hang them slightly askew (I had two), the necklaces can hang between the pegs. It's great--and very easy access when you're getting dressed in the morning. (I am not a morning person.)

Sorry there are no such things as “thrifting gods”. 😮 Also resellers you can’t manifest anything by “putting it out into the universe”!! If you really want something try PRAYER to the one and only real God.
That Indian box is vintage Pier 1 imports from when they 1st started roughly 70s, I avoid them as they are tired looking. Brass is really hot right now I agree with that and your floral picture is very pretty.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.

20:23 I just picked up those exact (I think) wooden candlesticks with the brass top plate TODAY. Mine say "Made in the USA" on the bottom. I love them! Also, the Japanese teapot is so pretty.

The basket/purse is excellent buy. Versatile. Great for x-stitch/ crewel storage or to be used for country decor.
I brought my grandmother the Florentine diptych of the Giotto fresco of St Francis and his prayer opposite from Assisi over 40 years ago. A little different design but they have been making the item for a long time.

I don't think its fair to sell full retail prices whrn you get it so cheap. Why not sell fora deal for others too but still get profit? That's what I'm going to do.
It's a lovely thought and certainly what many people do who resell as a hobby. But this business supports my family, so I charge what is necessary to cover my time and expenses. Luckily, I have many buyers who understand my mark-up and value what I do.
