I really underestimated Tyler Perry this movie was excellent. The attention to historical detail was awesome even though Major charity Adams was a tall woman Kerry Washington was outstanding in the movie.
@@harrypender8886 Do your research and you will find many of the scenes were fabricated by the filmmakers. The bases of the story is true, but many of the storylines are misleading. No romance, no blood soaked letter, False ending; 3 ladies die, not 2, while they were in assignment in France. They were not forced to march immediately after disembarking from the trip, they took a train from Scotland to London. There's many more.
They sorted the shit out that mail! Likely experienced ptsd. They drop under tables whenever they see a piece of postage without proper stamps. War is hell.
It was an exceptional movie. I’m wondering, however, why it was necessary to tell the entire story before many have had an opportunity to watch it without making the proper “spoiler alert” disclaimer.
@@Mzpfpretti I agree with your view of the film as well. Many inaccuracies in the script. I'm delineating the script from real events that are the true narrative of The 6888th, not the creative liberties taken by the filmmakers.
Fiction, Honey. They can never do a verbatim true story in movies. Tarantino made a scene where he killed Hitler in a theater that never happened in real life.
Before DEI. When Black people came from intact, families cherished education and God and appreciated The freedoms that are people had long since fought for. Before the degenerates, hip-hop, music gangster, rap, gangsterism, corrupted the culture of African-Americans. I will check this movie out
This movie is trash ! The add a false narrative from actual events. Not taking away from these women achievements but I’m Sorry I’m going to feel bad for you because the billeting they gave you isn’t up to your standards ! To God be the Glory for the black women

It's very much fiction and they were not all black
@clivebaxter6354 it's always going to be a lying hater hiding in the bushes throwing rocks because they once again have been exposed by their history.
Lena was a real person she did marry Hugh …she’s seen at the end ..
And Abram was never her love interest. Lena entered the military already married to Hugh ❤️🙏🏿

I think this movie should be in every theater nationwide not on Netflix
It wouldn't make money. Tyler Perry was strategic
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And showed in every history class!
@@suezcontours6653 exactly, that's why it is correctly placed on Netflix
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂, oh your serious?
I believe most women in the movie were real!!even the ones who died in the jeep accident,3 of them were real!!!!
You forgot that the two women, who were killed in the bomb had to have their burial paid by the women because the military refuse to bury them.
Oh my Creator God!!!

if Kerry doesnt get an Oscar or Golden Globe than you know this country will never change, it hasnt been a hand full who has won.
Tyler Perry can't make Oscar Worthy dialogue to save his life

You obviously don’t know how the award nominations work. It’s not the American people as a whole who nominate. It’s the Academy Award guild of actors.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅, oh your serious?
Why make a film about letter sorters who started 2 months before the end of the war?
And one with revisionist history to boot.
"Post Office" by Charles Bukowski would have been a better choice.
Brilliant 👏

Oh the bravery of the postwomen. 🙄
lol
The USA treat their black citizen so poor. So many black people say Europe treat them better, than America ever did.
The daunting job of sending letters ???! Seriously ?
Honestly, a really, really, really dumb movie and pretty much total BS. 🙄
Charity Adams have interviews in which she addresses issues in this movie.
Lies!! Charity Adam's died in 2002
@@deef4267 but there are interview interviews available where she’s discussing what happens so it’s not a lie.

So they put in a fictional interracial love story that was never happening for what reason?
Fiction, Honey. They can never do a verbatim true story in movies. Tarantino made a scene where he killed Hitler in a theater that never happened in real life.
That love story was true
It's not fictional, it was real.
The love story isn't true at all. Do your research.
Many of the scenes were embellished, including the ending.
@cappriment The love story is true. The whole movie is true. No leave me alone Satan
I usually hate Tyler Perry's movies because they're pretty much all the same. But, this one looks interesting.
