You missed one pair of banned episodes. The two episodes that were supposed to be the debut of Team Plasma got banned for very similar reasons to the Whiscash episode
I don't see the problem with Dynamax Totems when they'll probably can just rise to the size of typical Dynamax Pokemon. It just seems like an arbitrary rule to me, especially allowing some species but not others of Totem. Like you can literally easily just increase the model without it affecting the animations with a tool. Of course your logic about HOME also applies to Pokemon unobtainable in SwSh but of course it's all about the money (where I do hear stories of users frurstrated about not being notified that they cannot migrate Pokemon, especially if Dexit wasn't known to them).
Good video, but you missed Partner Eevee and Partner Pikachu in Let’s Go. They aren’t anything special, but they can’t be transferred to other games (at least, I think that’s the case).
They can't be transferred. But if you have save files for both games on the sane profile, you can get a pikachu and eevee at the wild area Station in S&S. And neither are evolvable, but are maxed out dynamax.
I really love watching your videos and the amount of effort you put into them it’s honestly marvellous, and how long you’ve been doing it! Well done mate, keep it up 🙂👍

Probably bc it's designed after a flower/plant pot, a lot of them have a hole or multiple holes on the bottom for drainage so thats probably it lmaoo If you actually wanted to know, that's my guess anyway :) The first card though looks so weird LOL
Magikarp is offensive too, he never closes his eyes which that means they are stereotyping the mentally disabled too. Also Misty could be a stereotype for anorexics. Honestly, if you think about it enough, everything everywhere should be banned from everywhere because someone somewhere will find it offensive.
8:20 no? I actually remember having a bonslai card somewhere in my collection, although it’s been a while since I collected cards. I got it back during the days of gen 5, but I haven’t seen one since. For those who want to look, it was a card of it walking around.
Pokemon Best Wishes Episode 23-24 was also didn’t aired due to Japan earthquake & tsunami, which the episode features destruction & such from Team Rocket & Plasma.
There's also Az's Floette, which was meant to be an event but was never actually released. It was left in the game files and was able to be transferred into bank and up to gen 7, but was unable to make it in to home.
I haven't collected the cards since the original 151. But one thing that's always confused me is the types depicted on the cards. Ghost had the psychic symbol. Poison had the grass symbol, and rock and ground had the fighting symbol which looks like the same all the way to gen 4 as depicted on the Bonsly card there. Why is that?
too many types would made the weakness and resistence system, aswell as synergies, hellish to balance, so they group similar types together, specially since the energy system is somewhat based on magick, with each type having a color that makes it easy to recognize; brown is a good colour for fighting, rock and ground, no need to split it in 3 different hues with different symbols; also the game made for kids and having 11 (10 now because fairy was discontinued) vs 18 types makes the game more complex than it needs to be also poison changed twice, it used to be grass, then it became psychic, now it's dark
It is obscene that they punish the pokemon that THEY chose to be in the episode. “We made a bad episode so therefore this pokemon will never be seen in the anime ever again” what???
If porygon was so bad why did the Pokemon company went ahead and create Porygon 2? and then in top of that Porygon Z. years later? why not give them another chance in the anime minus the flashing that was caused by Pikachu in the first place?
There's a special category for Pokemon forms not making it to the Sword and Shield games: Mechanic change. Primal forms for Groudon and Kyogre, every Mega Evolution and let's not forget Ultra Necrozma. Strangely enough, Complete Zygarde managed to make it in, so it can't be because all of those Pokemon have a transformation during the battle. It was possible that it was their stats. But then again, you can't Dynamax Zacian and Zamazenta while Eternatus's Eternamax form is only seen through one of its signature moves (as well as being exclusively a boss form). They could have made it so that none of those Pokemon (Megas included) could Dynamax after they have transformed.
My favourite banned Pokémon is MechaMew2, which will sadly probably never be featured in the games OR anime due to the company's embarrassment of the stage musical from which it originates. Mecha my beloved, you deserve so much better.
Ash-Greninja and Dusk Lycanroc being event Pokémon… it’s not really comparable, since you can breed Rockruff with Own Tempo if you had the event and trade them to those who missed out, but Battle Bond can’t be inherited by Froakie since Ash-Greninja can’t breed. I *guess* the event is still technically open (since you can still download the special demo) but still…
I remember being in 7th or 8th grade when the second generation was announced. I remember when Pokemon was on a hiatus due to the Porygon issue which killed me as I was Ready for some Pokemon lol. Thanks GameShark and Tips & Tricks Magazine... Hahaha.
I really hope that Porygon and his evolution lines will be again in pokemon anime in some sort of our lifes, because this pokemons are my most favourite ones and they deserve this comeback.
Ash grenenja is probably due to the inability to move between games. USUM doesn't get the pokemon through the demo, and pokebank couldn't move it into those games, so anyone who had it would be using a hacked mon. At least that's what I remember from having an ash greninja of my own.

I'm aware that I'm way late to the party on this one but I just started watching your videos so 🤷 eh whatcha gonna do Imo to problem with Ash greninja was that it was a mega without the need of a mega stone, the reason most mega are balanced is due to the fact that they can't hold an item that'd help them Imagine a mega mawile with a life orb Or mega tyranitar with an assault vest Or hell mega venusaur with black sludge it would break them because those items make them hit even harder or tankier than almighty hell Ash greninja you could run choice specs or scarf, life orb, hell if you don't want commitment expert belt, all these options on top of the fact it's sporting one of the highest Stat improvements of a mega I can't blame them for banning it
There hasn't even been a Bonsly by that artist. There have been 3 total printed. 1 made it outside of Japan in Diamond and Pearl base set. So if you did it was a fake pack
Kinda makes me wonder if any of these missing and or banned pokemon will show up in journeys because of Goh goal of catching them all. But then again I highly doubt he gonna catch every current available mon within the one series.

I still keep foolishly hoping that the forms that were left behind will one day return. As someone who literally wants to catch em all, forms included, it really disappoints me.
I had the VHS with the Holiday HiJynx episode growing up, untampered look and all. Am I allowed to feel old now?
Actually Dratini made an appearance shedding its skin in the Pokémon Journey’s episode
Pokémon be like: BUT HER AIM IS GETTING BETTER

Thank you so much for all videos you made. You are one of my absolutely best youtubers ever. :)
Jsi borec. Mám moc rád tvoji tvorbu.
Nice, another high quality video from your channel!
Ngl this an interesting concept
Porygon 2: Nooooo! You can't just give my evolved form a voice but not me!
GameFreak: haha porygon z go, "Zeeeeeeh, zeh, zeh!"
it hurts so bad how many cartridges got lost in middle school :(((((
I really love watching your videos and the amount of effort you put into them it’s honestly marvellous, and how long you’ve been doing it! Well done mate, keep it up 🙂👍
I love how they ban animated characters like they’re actors who did something wrong and not punish animators who created it all in the first place lol
Porygon appear in SM001 indirectly when Manuel Oak during his word pun he mention Porygon... I hope that Porygon returns in the anime with a similar to Kadabra stuff.
Or if not Porygon, then maybe one of its evolutions. After all, Porygon Z has an anime voice
one day, we may see the Porygon line appear in the anime proper
0:27 Bruh I was LITERALLY eating a banana when THAT came up-
11:55 "spiky eared pichu is the only Pokémon to not have a 3d model"
Have you heard of Super Smash Bros Ultimate?
Edit: it was fixed later in the video
Have you heard about the "wants to Journey" tag going around in the Pokemon anime community? If so do you plan on participating?
I’ve heard of it! I’ll have to look further into it before I decide.
@@JPRPokeTrainer98 Okay. I would recommend you do it. I tried it myself and it was fun.
Fun fact: saying Pichu in czech dabbed pokémon anime is banned, cuz in czech its readed Piču, whitch is very similar to one of czech rude words (sorry for my grammar, im not english speaker)
porygon must return or else the "gotta catch em all" thing going on in journeys is a lie
what the hell were they thinking with bonslys design? just why is there a hole on the bottom of it LMAO
Probably bc it's designed after a flower/plant pot, a lot of them have a hole or multiple holes on the bottom for drainage so thats probably it lmaoo
If you actually wanted to know, that's my guess anyway :)
The first card though looks so weird LOL
@@GweenOfTea yea makes sense but as you said that first card art is questionable
I have that reverse holo Bonsly and I promised myself that I would never sell it.
Porygon-Z's Voice in Pokepark is my favorite tbh
Id kill to be able to transfer my spikey pichu to Pokemon home
Surprised Magikarp never got banned for being so OP
Magikarp is offensive too, he never closes his eyes which that means they are stereotyping the mentally disabled too. Also Misty could be a stereotype for anorexics.
Honestly, if you think about it enough, everything everywhere should be banned from everywhere because someone somewhere will find it offensive.

This is my third video I’ve watched of your today. I’m subscribed and I liked all of them. Thank for for the algo
8:20 no? I actually remember having a bonslai card somewhere in my collection, although it’s been a while since I collected cards. I got it back during the days of gen 5, but I haven’t seen one since. For those who want to look, it was a card of it walking around.
Porygon was the scapegoat of a larger cover up
Pokemon Best Wishes Episode 23-24 was also didn’t aired due to Japan earthquake & tsunami, which the episode features destruction & such from Team Rocket & Plasma.
There's also Az's Floette, which was meant to be an event but was never actually released. It was left in the game files and was able to be transferred into bank and up to gen 7, but was unable to make it in to home.
I rather black jynx than that stupid purple color the black made it look beautiful
Okay I know this video is a little old but your character model reminds me so much of Junpei Iori from Persona 3
Can we talk about the back sprite at 8.10 🥺 she is hugging her child so cute
Man I hate censorship
****
Sometimes you gotta blame the animators for being dumb.
Why is that?
too many types would made the weakness and resistence system, aswell as synergies, hellish to balance, so they group similar types together, specially since the energy system is somewhat based on magick, with each type having a color that makes it easy to recognize; brown is a good colour for fighting, rock and ground, no need to split it in 3 different hues with different symbols; also the game made for kids and having 11 (10 now because fairy was discontinued) vs 18 types makes the game more complex than it needs to be
also poison changed twice, it used to be grass, then it became psychic, now it's dark
It's worth noting that outside of Smash and Pokken, Pika Libre, Rock Star and Pop Star also exist in Pokemon GO too, along with their exclusive moves.
Im pretty sure Ash's Torterra uses Earthquake in the gen 4 anime
Cosplay Pikachu gives me life
It is obscene that they punish the pokemon that THEY chose to be in the episode. “We made a bad episode so therefore this pokemon will never be seen in the anime ever again” what???
6:04 so THATS why Ash’s (and Paul’s) Torterra never learned Earthquake!
We has been studying a Porygon case at school.
My favourite banned Pokémon is MechaMew2, which will sadly probably never be featured in the games OR anime due to the company's embarrassment of the stage musical from which it originates.
Mecha my beloved, you deserve so much better.
Ash-Greninja and Dusk
Lycanroc being event Pokémon… it’s not really comparable, since you can breed Rockruff with Own Tempo if you had the event and trade them to those who missed out, but Battle Bond can’t be inherited by Froakie since Ash-Greninja can’t breed. I *guess* the event is still technically open (since you can still download the special demo) but still…
Uri geller was afraid of losing the only thing preventing him fron falling into obscurity.
I remember being in 7th or 8th grade when the second generation was announced. I remember when Pokemon was on a hiatus due to the Porygon issue which killed me as I was Ready for some Pokemon lol. I was also the first in my area to have Mew, thanks to my dirty dirty GameShark lmao. I was selling Mews for $10-20 when the Red/Blue versions first came out. Thanks GameShark and Tips & Tricks Magazine... Hahaha.
Does anyone else find the words "Ash ketchum commits blackface" hilarious?
Petition to use Earthquake, Magnitude, and Fissure in the anime again
I really hope that Porygon and his evolution lines will be again in pokemon anime in some sort of our lifes, because this pokemons are my most favourite ones and they deserve this comeback.
pokemon go has pikachu libre and it can even be shiny which is pretty cool
Ash grenenja is probably due to the inability to move between games. USUM doesn't get the pokemon through the demo, and pokebank couldn't move it into those games, so anyone who had it would be using a hacked mon.
At least that's what I remember from having an ash greninja of my own.
The only banned upisode i want is the team plasma vs team rocket one
#FreePorygon
Everyone: Porygon never deserved the ban.
Me: Whatever happened to Spiky-eared Pichu?
What about the tentacool and tentacruel episode
The spiky haired pichu has appeared in the anime long before the movie mentioned
Remember when the og Jynx was banned. Still think that was a stretch.
Stretch? Sure. Doesn't mean people in America didn't put up a stink for it.
bruh it's very close to the racial stereotype, it deserved to be banned
@@aaronwishard7093 Its crazy, considering that its a creature in a kids show.
@@Sahil-ph1bp that assumes that it WAS based on an American design
It stinks of Western Centrism to think that
@@pn2294 either way dude it's still a fucked up design. How pissy would white people get if made a fat american pokemon? Very, despite the fact that white people aren't even oppressed lmao
porygon might be coming back at some point in pokemon journeys, also, spiky eared pichu is an alt for pichu in super smash bros ultimate
Damn I remember rewinding recorded vhs tape trying to find the episode where Ash caught the 29 Tauroses. It was not there 😕
As a Porygon-Z fan it bothers me that to this day that Porygon is being punished for an accident PIKACHU caused
I'm aware that I'm way late to the party on this one but I just started watching your videos so 🤷 eh whatcha gonna do
Imo to problem with Ash greninja was that it was a mega without the need of a mega stone, the reason most mega are balanced is due to the fact that they can't hold an item that'd help them
Imagine a mega mawile with a life orb
Or mega tyranitar with an assault vest
Or hell mega venusaur with black sludge it would break them because those items make them hit even harder or tankier than almighty hell
Ash greninja you could run choice specs or scarf, life orb, hell if you don't want commitment expert belt, all these options on top of the fact it's sporting one of the highest Stat improvements of a mega I can't blame them for banning it
Ash wasn't doing blackface
Didn't Porygon Z appear in Diamond and Pearl in the background for 1 second?
Pichu come baaaack! I missssss yyyoooouu!
Even today on that weird streaming service they have you still can’t watch the porygon episode welp that sucks
Idk if this is Mandela effect but I remember pulling a bonsly in tcg in the recent years,if I'm correct the artwork was a claymodel
There hasn't even been a Bonsly by that artist. There have been 3 total printed. 1 made it outside of Japan in Diamond and Pearl base set. So if you did it was a fake pack
I wish Hypno was back
Ash dresses up as a literal monkey and some lightbulb thought that it would be anti-racism to ban it
Kinda makes me wonder if any of these missing and or banned pokemon will show up in journeys because of Goh goal of catching them all. But then again I highly doubt he gonna catch every current available mon within the one series.
He might be given them in Pokeballs and just mothball them
The Pokémon Ash-greninja was banned because you were able to use mega/z moves and then use battle bond with greninja in the same match as well as primal evolution soooooo very understandable why 🤦🏽🤦🏽
US: We can't show a children's show with guns in them!
Also the US: Mm, yes, every citizenship can get a gun without mental and background checks, and 17-year-olds will be able to hold them as well at their volition without license.
So your telling me 700 kids drop when the traffic light changes? And this is poygons fault how? Turning the light on and off would have take those kids out
I don't mind Jynx being absent. I've never liked it.
