Thanks a BIG bunch! I started a QAYG quilt about 10 years ago. But...life has a way of detouring efforts from time to time & it ended up as a WIP! 😂
I'm retired now and have just found the project...sadly I forgot how it went together. I was THRILLED to find your video this morning! My, soon to be born, new great grandson will be the recipient of this project...
    THANKS TO YOU!

Very helpful videos with clear explanations. Never leaves me with unanswered questions. Best quilting tip videos on TH-cam, in my opinion, and I have looked at soooo many. Nothing irritating about the presentation either, which is not the case with most others. Thank you for these. Much appreciated.

This is a great technique and tutorial. Thank you!!! I finished my first block and it looks really good. I did have a slight problem with my first blocks being just a little off level from each other - see through batting would have saved me - by the time I got to the second row I had a problem but I was able to work through it and my block looks terrific!!! I will be looking for other tutorials from you!!!

Wow, I just thought, if you piece the 61/2" strips... ...you could do a completely scrappy quilt on one side (and hold the opposite side strips away while quilting in the ditch between the squares,) and a more plain version on the other. You could also alternate with picture panels or plain blocks or both. Such mind-blowing possibilities.
Once when a relative was in hospital, someone in there had been given a quilt with hidden pockets on it, used for get-well cards. I was thinking you could have a hidden chocolate stash in the outside of your quilt so it wasn't too warm, for movie watching purposes, snuggle in, and then bring them out, to blow the minds of the little ones watching with you. All the best.

I just added a bit but it didn't stay. A relly in hospital saw another patient with a quilt, multi-pockets sewn on to put get-well cards into. You could use pockets outside a quilt for a choccie stash, and half-way through a movie, bring them out of hiding, to blow the minds of the little ones with you.

Muchas gracias y ojalá como sugerencia, colocaran las medidas de los cuadros en números. 👍♥️

I was hoping you could give me some advice on completing my quilt.
I made the top half of my patchwotk quilt cover (10ft x 11ft) not realizing that I would need floor space to lay the finished item down to make a sandwich of the wadding and backing.
As most people have done before me, I put it away to work on it later when I had solved the problem.
That was 4 years ago just before I became a full time carer to my son.
Now today 25 July 2017 watching Quilting Tips & Techniques 111 I realized that if I could use this method of quilt-and-go using the backing and wadding only -then once this is sewn to size the patchwork top could be smoothed over and tacked before sewing.
Hoping you are still able to repy as video was made 4years ago

I was wondering, if we were to use iron on batting (like fusible cotton batting), would that help to keep everything inline as we are doing this reverse block?
