  • Hi everyone, welcome to my channel. In this video, I’m going to share with you my story of how I beat stage 2 breast cancer, also known as invasive ductal carcinoma. This is the most common type of breast cancer, affecting about 80% of women who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, when I was 41 years old. It all started when I felt a lump in my left breast during a self-exam. I went to see my doctor and she ordered a mammogram and an ultrasound. The results showed that I had a suspicious mass in my breast, so I had to do a biopsy to confirm if it was cancerous or not.
The biopsy results came back positive for cancer. I was shocked and scared. I couldn’t believe that this was happening to me. The biopsy also revealed that I had stage 2a breast cancer, which means that the tumor was between 2 and 5 centimeters in size and had spread to one or two lymph nodes under my arm. The tumor was also hormone receptor positive, which means that it was fueled by estrogen the female hormone.
My treatment plan consisted of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. The surgery was to remove the tumor and some surrounding tissue, as well as four lymph nodes under my arm tow for which were suspect. The chemotherapy was to kill any remaining cancer cells in the body and reduce the risk of recurrence. The radiation therapy was to target the area where the tumor was removed and prevent any local recurrence.
The treatment was not easy. I had to deal with side effects such as hair loss, fatigue, pain, and mood swings. I also had to cope with emotional challenges such as fear, anxiety, anger, and depression.
But I did not give up. I fought hard and stayed positive.
I am happy to say that I completed my treatment in 2023 and I am now in remission. This means that there is no evidence of cancer in my body at this time.
I am so grateful for being alive and healthy. I learned a lot from this experience. I learned to appreciate every moment of life, to love myself more.
Thank you for watching this video and listening to my story. If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more videos about breast cancer awareness. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below and I will try to answer them as soon as possible. Thank you for your support and stay strong!
P.S. If you are wondering what kind of chemotherapy drugs I took, here is the information:
Part One : Fluorouracil 5FU, Pharmorubicin, Cyclophospamide These are chemotherapy drugs given by injection into the vein every three weeks.
Part Two: Docetaxel (other name: Taxotere) This is another chemotherapy drug given by injection into the vein every three weeks.

Hi thank you for your video story. I found a lump under my arm. The mamo showed I also had a lump in my breast. This is in may. I finally had a ultra sound at a hospital yesterday. They found the lump is the sane from 2017 but bigger and same for under arm. So they've said it's my glands making the lumps. Told me in the future to keep checking and if I notice a change to call the Dr. Stay strong. Hugs

Thank you so much for sharing your journey. You're so amazing, I'm sure it's difficult to stay consistent with your posting even throughout this difficult time. In case you're still dealing with cracked lips, the one thing that helped me the most was the lanolips 101 ointment, it's a bit expensive but lanolin was a miracle ingredient for me. 🥰
