Very nice set up I would love to do something like that to my bikes nice job
Very good work !
Nice. Very helpful.
Cool build
Very cool , Ben
Hey you got a 9 on the engine mount . like the clamps i have a 50s schwinn frame no weld . might use them .
Excellent build, strong engine mount. The fuel filter is the wrong way round.
glad you like the build!! yah ive done research about the fuel filter cuz there are a lot of mixed thoughts but this was the way most people said it goes and its worked fine for me
Where did you get that thing instead of using the star nut I can’t find the website
Mr, BADASS right now I can't . In the future will talk $ thanks
I have basically the same engine on my bike I modified a friction mount to fit a lifan 4 HP 118 cc. I had videos of it on my previous channel libertymongoose420 but it got taken down.Anyways bikes coming along great.
Thanks man! Yah I've heard about the lifan 118cc as being a good option too and it's a little more affordable.
How fast does it go
@@person-ce8cr it depends on the weight of the rider, but the 118cc goes about 45 mph on flat ground assuming you are using a torque converter and a 36 tooth rear sprocket and no extra modifications.
@@BenCarano would that same transmission be able to fit a gx160(160cc honda?)
@@person-ce8cr yes, both the torque converter and the one I used in the first video will definitely fit the Honda gx 160. However Hondas are metric so you may have to buy bolts with a different thread pitch to mount it depending on the brand of transmission, but all the holes are in the same spot.
You should make bicycle engine kits and sale them! Way better quality than the chinese versions!
haha I've definitely considered it! I've kinda moved on with my hobbies now though, so don't have much time, but i appreciate that you like the quality of my build :)
Would you be able to fabricate another one of those engine mounts for sale?
I love engine and how HP it’s comes with?
Most people would use an endmill to remove all that material.
Where do you buy this engine please send me the link will appreciate thanks mate
Very nice welds. Is that self taught??
From where did you get the clamps and the rubber?
I got the clamps from a shop that makes roll bar cages for jeeps and stuff (roll bar cage clamps). The rubber I bought at my local hardware store, they had 1/4" rubber sheets
Hello...where can I get a set of those clamp?
those are roll bar cage clamps I bought them from a metal fab place
@@BenCarano right on...thanks Benjamin
I would much rather have this nice honda 4 cycle engine on my bike than those cheesy 2 cycle engines made for bikes
quiet anthony, sassy kid. noisy af.
Hmmm a carbon fiber fork on a motorized bike Oooooo
