@@RidingWiithJacob yeah but yours looks like a after market tire “kenda” I think. The tires on eBay are more Expensive than a car tire. I just need some cheaper alternatives for burnout and donuts 😂
@@RidingWiithJacob lol I’m looking now and found one for $50 about how much did you pay. Also why no more updates on the bike bro? I’m bout to put a Hfraight motor on my bike too!
Lotta guys use 3 inch muffler clamps. No mods needed, put em around frame & stick em up thru the engine holes. ( stick a slice of opened up bike tire tube under the clamps to kill vibration)
wherte did u order the engine from and did u have to ask for the mounting plate for a schwinn bike or does the plate that come with the motor just work with it please lemme no and how much did it cost plz ????????
Harbor freight, 79cc predator engine I believe it’s around 115$ and yes the engine came with a mounting plate, you just have to figure out how to mount to bike.
I haven’t seen the exact size of those. But if it’s same size as the 212 or smaller than yes. With the 212cc I do know you have to cut the bottom piece and weld it lower.
I applaud your effort and willingness to tackle a project like this. I would highly recommend you acquire a mounting plate. mock it up , measure and mark it exactly where you need it for perfect chain alignment. Then take it to a welding shop and have the plate welded in. The engine will want to vibrate loose with your current system. If you go with the current system at least get some cylinderical spacers to use over bolts to try and tighten down engine, as it is you will keep having to tighten down and the straps will bend. You must achieve perfect chain alignment or you'll end up frustrated, because your chain will always fall off, make noise and wear out and pop master links. Okay, I hope you succeed with your bike build, Good luck.
The engine is a 79cc predator I bought from harbor freight, most parts I purchased off eBay. I watched a lot of red beard garages video he also built one so his videos were a lot of help best of luck !
@@fernandocastillo8026 it had rubber in between metal. But I did away with it.. I purchased an all aluminum machined adapter and sprocket from bikeberry.com made for occ choppers. Much better quality.
Hello, I am wondering if anyone is able to help. I would like to know where I can obtain a 24" , disc brake and 5 or 6 speed, fat tire rim to fit a stingray chopper. 🤔 Thanks in advance 👍😊
Man your videos are so helpful i just got my choppper and im planning on doing the same thing to my bike to get to work keep up the good work
Thank you! Best of luck and have fun!
We did the exact same thing
Vinegar and steel wood I clean those forks right up, or much better..
That tape was smart
Im going to use this method of mounting the engine since it’s so simple but effective
Hey Jacob where did you find that rear tire at? I can’t find anything that fits my occ bike.
They are all over eBay “stingray occ rear tire” and some options will show up.

The bracket I fabricated out of steel sheets. Bolts from home depot
Link for the mounts for the engine ?
The engine mounting plate comes with the 79cc predator engine. I fabricated the to brackets and bolts that hold it to the frame with pieces of steel

Will a 212cc fit?
Jacob Murray yes, but you will have to cut bottom bar and weld a mounting plate. And lower it 2 inches.
@jacobmccann9871
What do you mean by lowering 2 inches? Did you have to mod the bike at all I can make a mount
Nice bike
How do you plan on doing disc brakes
They sell conversion kits.
@@RidingWiithJacob will it need a new hub
@@willmack4853 yes you will need to buy a universal hub and re lace it too the stingray occ rim.
Did you add any bracing after chopping out the seat tube? When I built my 79 chopper I didn’t need to chop or weld anything
Bullet Cruisers I’d advise to add two support bars just behind the seat where the swing arm is
