You’ve been busy kiddo! Good job. We’ve missed you but you gotta keep those grades up and enjoy your sports while you can. Firewood will always be there. That saw though. My goodness. I can’t believe it sat in the store for a MONTH! What a find. Those things are like unicorns. Great video! We’ll see ya on the next one!
Put the bark box and WCS 3 point felling dawgs...very nice package!! Guy that calls my saw a light Saber 😂 says man is that a sweet sounding saw!! I feel it's a wee bit better to boot! And runs cooler.
Wow, I must say that is a very clean and neat looking woodyard . That 400 is a great saw ;) I run it with the 25" light bar. It's a great addition to the 261
Thank you! We were looking for a light bar for a while but no one had one and we needed the 25 for a job. Man you have a great saw setup! The 400 paired with a 261 is exactly what we want to have eventually
Glad to see you back on , great demo of that awesome saw . You keep up with school and sports , that wood isn’t going anywhere . That was one big tree too .
Good luck to you and your team in the tournament . I have a very good friend from the military that their son played soccer all his life . When he graduated high school he went to Europe and played for a couple of years . He was 18 . His name is Tyler Jones .
Awesome video bud. That saw looks very nice to cut with, hopefully it will keep on chugging along cutting wood. I think I need to start posting again cause my wood yard is about full of logs to cut and make videos on. Have a good day!
That's a beauty of a saw. It's handy to have the 20 inch bar as well if you needed it. I have a 500i myself and its awesome. I'd love to try the 400. I wish you well with it 👍
I like your new video i like your 400 i this was really cool video i have a ms 271 it work really good for love your video good jop on your video buddy
Yo! I couldn't figure out what that was for and was here wondering why he didn't cut those off... as a man in his first year cutting his own logs, thank you! I'm doing this tomorrow on the ms400 I just bought today!
I love your videos young fella your doing great job ! I own an ms-261 c & a 462 ! Both great saws 18'' bar on the 261 and a 25" " bar on the 462 , my 462 has good grunt on big stuff ! Thinking I'd like a 400 now like you have to fill my gap ! Keep up the good work !
I just bought a 400c. There were 2 on the shelf at my dealer. I watched them for about a month and finally got one. Haven’t even ran a tank through it yet. There were also 2 500i’s on the shelf also. Don’t know why they aren’t selling. This is big time logger country here in southern missouri.
I have the 500i. The 400c and 500i fueling deliveries are quite different. The 400 being electronic controlled carb and the 500i is actually fuel injected no choke on the 500i. Just thought I'd through my 2 cents in any how great vid and thank you for the info im sure it will be a fantastic saw as it is a STIHL!! Lol
Nice video. You will go far in life.Just want to give some advice.I know you love saws.I do too.But speaking from my young(eheheh) age do take care of yourself.I'm paying the price now over use of the body and repetitive work ,firewood ,fence posts, beekeeping and a few others with similar actions.Take care of yourself and mix it up with other activities ,exercises and stretches (maybe you do that already) we tend to forget about that when where younger. If I could go back to your age id do things a bit different so I could continue to do the things I once loved.Oh another thought If you going to do any muffler modifications wear plugs as well as your normal muffs on your helmet. So glad I came across your channel. If you where my neighbor we would get on just fine.
I've had a ms441cm for ten years now and it's been great. I cut big firewood with it and use it on my Alaskan mill too. I'm gettin older and the saw is feeling heavier so I'm thinkin about trading up. The ms 400c is the same horsepower, but more than 2lbs lighter. Bucking up big firewood rounds with the 441 is a chore and I use my little husqvarna 550xp for smaller stuff. The ms400c is only a little heavier than the 550xp and alot more power for my 28" bar.
Great video! I just ordered up a 362 with the automagic carb and just wanted to hear it run. How big are those totes you've got your wood stored in? Looks like a good idea there.
Very informative video, and we can tell you really like your Gear as well Just bought my 400 yesterday , I'm In Australia can't wait to rip through some wood 👍
I have this saw and a husky 372xp and the husky has literally no vibration at all compared to the stihl which feels more aggressive, also have the 462, 660
Might wanna use that chain brake when you're starting ur saw just a suggestion from my experience plus i do some climbing with a saw and that habit can save you whether up in a tree or on the ground! 👍 I'm hoping to pick me up the 400 this week hopefully I've been eyeballing it for awhile now and sold my ms391 so need a saw to replace it and looking at the 400 as a good solid replacement!! 👍
@@WhackinAxes yeah everything I've seen about it has been good i liked my 391 had a 18 inch and 25 inch bar for it gonna do the same with the 400 is my plans the 400 is more powerful and lighter than my 391 was !! Priced one just a few minutes ago here locally and with the 25 inch bar it's 980$
Well done, Evan! Very good demonstration. That would be the first magnesium piston I am aware of, I could be wrong 🤣 That is a dandy of a saw. You should let that Todd character use it sometime. I can vouch for him…… Anyway, great to have you back and what a woodyard! Take care! WST
Yeah that’s why there’s so many accident’s people not putting the chain break on when starting the saw hopefully you’ll never find out but it always happens when you don’t expect it otherwise good review
Hello, according to STIHL's recommendations, a 25 bar is not suitable for this machine. It would have been necessary to buy a 462c, certainly, a little more expensive, but planned for 25.
That’s a sweet saw! You say your dad looked at it for a month before he pulled the trigger? I gotta ask, when he walks around do you hear a high pitched squeaking sound? 🤣🤣🤣 JK! Great job on the video Evan. Be sure to let your dad run that saw every once in a while.👍🏻
😂😂 Oh man you know every once in a while I may hear that🤣 I always tell him to run it but he always tells me to so it’s his own loss! Thanks for watching!

Awesome firewood operation you have there. 👍
Most organized firewood operation I’ve ever seen. The kid is a worker!

Stihl ms 400c ported?
How'd you get to the oiler to adjust it ?
There is an adjustment on the bottom of the chainsaw. The orange Stihl screwdriver that comes with the chainsaw is what we use to adjust it.
There is no plastics that need to be removed it’s just a little hole you put the screw driver in
Mine has a plastic cover you have to take off,to get to it
