Electric top handles seem to work well for Arborists. As far as I am aware the Electric stuff really only competes with the homeowner grade equipment when they get larger. Just my thoughts.
Good for getting an early start in the morning too. They definitely have a place. I have 2. And they come in handy. I run makitas because they're ties with dolmar and I have makita carpentry tools.
@oakiewoodsman yep its all about the batteries and chargers. I have a good size collection so I I can go for awhile without charging if needed. Also they don't run constantly which is nice. Even just for clearing smaller type crap and limbs. But you do have to adjust to them some and the tq safety. You gotta get to know the saws good and not push them real hard like.

@@censorshipisreal8805 never thought of the early morning start scenario! Good thought.

I read on some forums that they’re discontinuing the 400 and currently testing a 400.1 in Germany?
I haven't heard that . But it would be interesting to see there changes. I love my 400c with a Westcoast Bark Box on it.
I believe they discontinue the magnesium piston, something isn't quite right with it !
No chainsaw chaps

Thanks for the sub. I have done likewise!
Nice saw gas engines all the way. Screw electric
Thanks for watching
