Yeah they're a decisive weapon, not a fire and forget. They also require planning too but it's different. Cannons you want elevation or terrain to help you hit the splash but truenos really you want to think about your enemies EN. Totally agree with them being more cannon like in an employment sense
@0:20 yes I love it especially when you run reverse joints. Tanks are just thirsty to try to take advantage of your low stability. Pop an assault armor on 2 or 3 of them then watch the rest happen
I appreciate the share code. The build is fun, but I think I prefer mine with a little more bulk so I can get away with running some missile launchers so I never have to stop moving when firing like with the Truenos. Also it seems counter intuitive, but try mixing a Turner or a Scudder in with the RF rather than just two RFs. The higher rate of fire actually helps conceal the RF's bigger bullets so people don't get a feel for the pace and timing of the slower rate of fire. I've been having a lot of success with that.
Agree, but to me the 'fire and forget' missiles that loiter are less interesting than missiles that are decisive and require timing to hit. Truenos in my mind are kind of like an extra set of hand weapons with the way you need to think about your enemy's EN and use them very deliberately.
Dual Ransetsu's are ballin especially if you're fast. After trying a ton of dual trigger weps, those were what I settled on. Their stagger and DPS are nuts for their low impact. Usually I'll run truenos or dual plasma launchers. Less impact punish but just constant DPS spa..

I'll say it, it sounds like a you problem when it comes to heavy mechs my guy. Imagine thinking it takes more skill to pilot a faster more agile mech that allows for wider ranges of play than it does to pilot a big moving target, with ehy less room for error due to said speed and size. With the only bonus being AP, because of all the other shortcomings due to your size. Sounds like you have a building/piloting issue. Get off your page😂😂😂 .. its cool we all have less favorable matchups, but to say no skill is big petty.
No?) Like, he pretty much concluded the whole gameplay for any heavy bipedal AC both in pvp in pve. Big moving target? Guess what - with most weapons, you have to be at least at mid-range to deal non-ricochet damage to those chunky guys. Now, guess at what range those guys are excelling at?) All they need to do is to outsurvive their opponent while doing high damage in return, and, as far as I (as well as this video maker) see it - this playstyle is not too hard to "master".
Bad player spotted. Get off my page bozo
@@ivanshulika5359 real one. People are in denial that their fatbody homonculus AC where they don't have to dodge anything is easier to play than a build where eating 2 shots = death lmao
@@W1Robur that's a shame actually, I think devs could do better job for heavy guys lifecycle. Might sound a bit stupid of me, but I'd rather have them bind those "tank" numbers in stats strictly to tank type of legs (at least those are restricted in mobility and are too hard to pilot by some casuals because of their "wheel" nature), but, I guess, this was not an option :(
@@W1RoburI thought I was alone, I played heavy once and it has its place but the "dance" is the most fun, I love being fast AF b
Its a good setup. I primary a build similar to this on my own channel @Live4RedlineGaming
Nice brother
