What is the Cherenkov Effect? How can an electron travel faster than Light?

- Relativity does not allow matter to travel faster than light. In year 1958 Nobel Prize for Physics was given to 3 individuals who were able to explain the radiation observed when a charged particle was travelling faster than light.
These two statements are contradictory. How is it possible?

Cherenkov Radiation captured inside the Advanced Test Reactor at Idaho National Laboratory. Cherenkov radiation happens when electrically charged particles, such as protons or electrons, travel faster than light in a clear medium.
The Radiation is Called Cherenkob Radiation
So again the conclusion is that nothing can travel faster than speed of light which is in vacuum which is c, no matter what is the medium. Am I right?

Prakash ki gati har ek material aur madhyam mein alag hoti hai. Jab hum uss material aur madhyam ka pata lagakar prakash ki gati ko paar karte hain, toh yeh hume space mein prakash ki gati se zyada tez safar karne ki sambhavna deti hai. Sir speed of light limits our visibility and instruments related .The telescopes like JWST or Hubble TS discovers some planet or any cosmological phenomenon which are 1 ,2 ....99 ,999 etc light year away . Means we are watching that much in past of those things . Does it makes sense.
Even that makes sense can't we visualize such things in current situation . Like if some planets or cosmological phenomenon looks like this in past as per their distance , so what would it look in current time .

Sir, why it blue light.....?
If the radiation have wavelength similar to blue light...?
So, if we move faster than light, then we also release some blue light also.
My personal view:
I guess coz that's the colour which is at Max limit of what a human eye can see.
So, basically what we see is the radiated part of the original radiation (like a cosmic ray) passing through (let's say) atmosphere.
This radiated part of the cosmic ray gradually loses energy at a very fast rate for us. So, the blue is the max colour we might see before it degrades further quickly.

😂 If you through a moving race car with very high speed to the the flowing river..😅 does not mean that flowing of water molecule is faster than the car .. so the statement is illogical when you say we can travel more than a speed of light.... Yes you can let the water molecule faster by reducing the speed of car.. 🤣
