You had to be there. I was in second row. This is not even one of my favourite songs of his, but that day, it was electrifying. And the energy from the audience was so spectacular, so much so that the encore performance was even more spellbindingly invigorating than the first time round. Checked in seeing Isaignani Ilayaraja sir's name. There's isn't one aspect, one genre, one nuance of music that Isaignani hasn't explored , experimented. Jus not that. Has hit the Pinnacle and has set unattainable standards. In everything about music. He is the most revered by even top class carnatic, classical, musicians. Can you imagine this number comes from a composer who is a saint and lives a very austere life?. The most versatile, the most aware, greatest musician of this millineum, of all times.Might sound like hysteria. But that's the truth. And this should be established in his time. It will.
