@@FatGuyFliesRC yes, although it is ok on 3s as well. Did overheat esc on stock 12 inch prop, but no problem with 11 inch. Who says one inch doesn't make a difference 😁.
The scarf 🧣 and you laughing made my afternoon 🤣 Great plane but tricky to land as it’s so lightweight. My first low wing (Max thrust ruckus from the UK and around 60”) was difficult for me to land because she was gliding a lot although she wasn’t really super light. Also landing gear was stiff aluminium. So one bolt I broke but no crashes as with all of my other planes 🤣 But I did not fly her for too long either 🤣 You seem to land easier the Mirage 2000c on a very windy maiden than this without wind. That’s pilots evolution 😆 Cool you keep trying different things. I’m a bit motivated with gliding again (DLG) and winter season (indoor) is coming too :D
Thanks , yeah with the Mirage the worse the conditions the better I fly her for some reason!! I hope you get plenty of flying in before the winter shut in!!
I just could not pull the plug on that sale for $114.99 since I have several planes to assemble and maiden. Still, I regret passing on it and hope the sale returns for next season. It's a great value at the full $164.99, but I plan on putting the savings into modifying the main gear, which seems too stiff and too narrow for good ground handling.
yes they are and SUPER easy with the IX14 you just type in what you want the radio to say and it does. I am fixing to bring DRACO out later this week and the time expired call out has been changed to "Greg land DRACO he is tired." lol!
Very stable fun little plane to enjoy!
Had one for years. Run mine on 4s 2200 with a smaller prop. No problems with stock esc and motor. Andy in uk.
