Devils Bridge, you missed out the main part of the legend.. Dogs jumping to their deaths from the bridge, and experts are baffled as to why they do this.

Good video, Britain has such an abundance of Legends, Mythology, and Folklore you could do litraly a shed load of vids and still not cover them all . There are hundreds in Eng, Scot , Wal , Corn, I o M , and Ire . I know of many , and I still discover new ones regularly. I love them .

The CRIM-n-L many urban legend are stories that are slightly twisted to make them scarier I do know what you mean and I don't deny jack the ripper was real but as time moves on and his story is told over and over it will distort from how we know it now to make it more scary and as I said as he is a legend among the locals and his crimes took place in a urban area this allows him to be placed on a urban legend list can you see what I am saying

I studied this in high school. Technically, we don’t actually know if Jack the Ripper existed, we just know there are correlations in motive and technique used to kill the victims. There isn’t DNA evidence pointing to a single murderer, so it’s a legend because it’s not necessarily fact, rather scary British fiction. Jack the Ripper has a huge tourist market in London, but a lot of people don’t realise that it’s another tag for ‘John Doe’. But he is in fact, Urban Legend because there’s no scientific evidence pointing toward his existence.

Tamsin Howland some say jack the ripper was caught but another was doing his killing so the real jack the ripper was set free. There are also stories of jack the ripper as a vengeful spirit killing women. Although that is just one of the many stories.
