I love these 3 girls. As a Brit, I was so proud of Amy. Aly has been one of my favourite gymnasts for a while now, she's always been kind of an underdog, behind Gabby and Jordyn and now Simone, but she works hard and fights even harder and her olympic success the last 2 cycles has been impressive. But Simone is just out of this world. The quality of her work is so high that even with a few little errors she can still win gold. She's a joy to watch.
As an American from the USA, I was also proud of Amy. After the job that Team GB did in Glasgow, it was great to see one of them on the medal stand. I always say once is a fluke, twice is a trend and three times is a habit...Beth in London was the fluke and Amy in Rio the trend, so I want to see our British friends get in the winning habit in Tokyo! As for Aly - she is my fave next to Simone, and if she goes on to become a coach I believe she will win her AA gold then...we'll see.

NBC Bought the full rights to Olympics Broadcasting until 2032. We were lucky enough to have had it full and live before.

at Nobody important .... not to sound rude . biles never been to an Olympics. this was the first. and yes if u are referring to her using the same routines as Worlds yea... kinda. but she has changed it up . some leaps are in different places. but she doesn't have to change it because all of her passes are top notch!!!! why change something that u are training for that is unpassabke and unbeatable ? it's a recipe for success

Judges must be enthustiastic, now that they have literally robbed Ferrari from Bronze. Tinkler had a perfect routine but quite not the same difficulty as Ferrari. Shame.
Ferrari was a tenth down on Tinkler in difficulty.

I want to become a gymnast to help with my dancing and fitness, I’m old (10) but I can do basics, (almost there with splits) and she really is an inspiration to me. I wish I could meet her and give me tips and teach me a thing or two. Thank you Simone Biles for inspiring me.

The commentary of this was not the best. Kinda down played Raisman and focused more on Tinkler & Biles. Love them all and they all accomplished a great deal. Just seemed like “Aly just didn’t do good enough to get the gold so.” Should have been more like she put in a phenomenal performance to win the silver! Lol I’m just venting! 😂

I love Simone, don't get me wrong, she is an amazing gymnast, but in my opinion I feel like Ali should've won gold. I liked Simone's routine, it was energetic and all, but I feel like Ali had a much more neat and precise routine, with little errors and clean cuts. Nothing I can do to change it, but props to both of them for doing so well!

dancing on every athlete has a onus of incorporating their personality and skills to render a competitive routine. The ones with no character and no display of love for the sport cannot succeed. You may think the routines are predictable because of the race for high degree of difficulty moves and popularity of certain tricks. Thus, there is more apples to apples comparison. Yet, within the routine there are allowances to personalize a routine and add more character to a performance. If one is highly skilled, one can make up their own moves.

Poor excuses to justify cheating and drug addiction at the most dirty level. In Rio 280 U.S. "athletes" were allowed to use prohibited drugs in because of "medical conditions"... They ought to compete to in the Paralympics instead.

More excuses... The information has been confirmed by WADA. The reality is that BILES gave a POSITIVE result to a METYLPHENIDATE test during Rio Olympics. This drug is a replacement of amphetamine. Read at least wikipedia to figure out that she is not taking choco-chips or Acetaminophen, but a usually forbidden drug.
