@@Sowatha13 I have an Altimeter that I have never used. I have not skied much since I bought it. It counts how many vertical feet you ski in a day. I have an app on my phone called "Map My Fitness". It shows me how far I ran the altitude changes and my average speed per mile. I will send you an e-mail of you don't mind.

Haha, I’m a big foodie and it was not easy to get quality food on the road especially with dietary restrictions. What can I say…I like to eat 😂 That fudge was the bomb!!

@@milesperhour023 I ride a bit everywhere in the South. North GA is convenient and more fun with the twistees. I did a 5k mile ride towards AK last year but I haven’t posted any videos yet. Just did a ride to Tellico plain TN. Do you edit your own videos?
You know…at this point it don’t much matter what it was but memories with western nc and the parkway but the reality of what is happening currently. It’s going to take a minute to get it back to some of what it was but more importantly getting the area back better than wahat it was to begin with…nice video tho…
@@Sowatha13 Looks like it was a fun Trip. I watched the Video and was going to be the first to comment then I went outside to cut some brush from limbs that fell in my yard. Last year it snowed where I live in Michigan on Halloween. Then it got cold enough early December to almost make enough snow for the Local Ski Resort to open. Then most of the Winter was so warm they could not make any more snow. Snowmobiling was a total bust. I would consider stopping in the Disaster area to help for a week. I have a pickup camper and an enclosed snowmobile trailer to hail the motorcycles in. Maybe take a quick visit to FL .

I had dirt bikes as a teenager and I had a street bike, a 1976 Yamaha RD-400-C Fathers would not let me take their daughters on dates on a Motorcycle. So I ordered a Brand new 1979 Z-28 Camaro, about 1 year after I bought it I started modifying it to be a bit faster. Got into the Cruising Scene like in "American Grafitti" if you ever saw it. Also got into Steet racing late at night on the 4 lane highway when there was no traffic out. I had a number of friends who encouraged me to take them for thrill rides. both fast on the curves in Michigan mostly linted to on an off ramps on the Highways and some curves by my parents house. I don't think any of those Fathers ever knew their daughters were riding in a 150 MPH car. All the same, cars are far safer than motorcycles at reasonable speeds. I just saw a guy from SC crash at 192 MPH at the Drag Strip. It was a freaky accident, air got behind his fairing where it was cut out for a Turbo charger pop off valve. The fairing exploded. You women liked shopping for clothes and ect. Men like shopping for Sporting Goods , Guns .. Motorcycles ect. It's funny how Persuasive some Motorcycle sales People can be. It looks like you handle your Triumph Tiger900 well. I rented a Tiger 1200 Low in 2020 through Twisted Throttle. It was supposed to be 140 HP. A very stable bike. Gas milage was rather bad things to the shaft drive. 1200's are too heavy to ride off road much. I was driving an 18 wheeler through ATL a couple times per week in the summer of 2020. I don't think I ever made it through other than in the Middle of the night without getting stopped in a traffic jam caused by an accident. Why on Earth do the have to close the road for 45 minutes while they measure skid marks ect. Just push the wreckage in the ditch and get the traffic moving again.
lol! I did not include the one we went to on day 1 that was closed until 11 am, nor the one in Cherokee they stopped by a second time on our way back South. The HD ladies love to support their brand 😉
Looks like it was a great trip. I,ve only been to Gatlinburg once in like 94 I think. Would love to visit it again. Not sure how it made out with the hurricane.

Good lil series...!!! I had the Tiger 900 Rally and the cruise is marvelous. Check out the "Shift Assist" quick shift on the Tiger as well. Or you may already have it on yours. It is extremly smooth clutchless shifting up and down. Better than BMW and others....just might be one of the best Shift Assists.
@@Kiyoti got the cruise control fixed once I got back which is very nice for long distance. I do not have shift assist on my bike but it shifts pretty smoothly.

Teenager was not fond of Gatlinburg as it reminded me of a big Disney/Vegas. I don’t know why I thought it would be a cute little town like black Mountain,
I can’t wait to get back out to that area again, except for the traffic in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I love my Harley but If you haven’t made the switch yet, don’t be so quick to do so. You can load the Tiger up like a pack mule and not worry so much about damaging your paint or what you ride through. And nothing wrong with a ‘low’ version - my GSA is a low model (and it’s still pretty tall). Great series! 👍
I'm glad you liked the series! I don’t think I’m a Harley girl. I love the Tiger and planing on going through some training to be able to do some off road.
Great finish touch in wrapping up this great ride. I was disappointed you didn’t go to the tail of the dragon, it’s just few miles away from that HD dealership! Btw, Harley doesn't suit you, that Tiger is a much better fit for your character ;)

@@Sowatha13 The tail of the dragon may be a personal challenge that you and other choice friends ride for? Either way the roads reputation is on folks that DO NOT OBEY SPEED LIMITS OR ROAD RULES! The same joys can be had anywhere in America when you slow down or pull over to soak in the views.
