Cloud is the strongest, if you can use him efficiently. The issue is... his fight animation drags out too long. And he cannot cancel it.
But in terms of who's the easiest to control, that would be Tifa. And best part about her that most of her moves can be cancel instantly.
In term of powers, Aerith is probably 2nd after Cloud.
The sound effects from all those parries - so satisfying. If only I was that skilled.
Practise perfect parrying against titan, helps to have the precision defense materia on, then work your way up the summons. It becomes second nature.

This was the hardest challenge by FAR for me. Way more than Bounds of Friendship. At one point I genuinely thought I wouldn't make it. Nice to see someone absolutely roflstomping these fights!
How in the world does one gets such great timing with guarding... It's unreal. And against the bahamut and Odin he's just untouchable

You can combo divekick straight from a focused strike during its post hit animation. No needs to animation cancel FS with dodge.

@@matten_zero They did nerf her for early game but because you get all the best skills later, have way more materia slots and can be level 70 she ends up being more insane lol

Im gonna give this a go. Been practicing lots with tifa, cloud and cait sith on solo against the summons on full power. Can beat titan in 34 seconds with tifa and got her parrying down pretty solid.
Goddamn. You only took damage twice throughout all those fights. That's insane.

Every time you block multiple fast attacks, do you need to keep pressing block or you only press block to immune once and it’ll block the rest?

What are your camera settings, just wondering? Also, I saw you answer the question about running Dragon Claws, but is there an alternative you'd recommend since I haven't fully maxed out Tifa's weapon abilities (I'm trying to get Gotterdamerung before Hard Chapters), or do you think it'd still be worth it using the Dragon Claws with 4 slots instead of 6?
its not worth to use 4 slots, juste use Kaiser Knuckles or do all chapters and side quests on hard mode to get all the manuscript , for my camera settings : 3,3 everything ON, 5, Normal, Normal, Non-active Characters, Menu Controls & Auto-Camera, Direction Input. Good luck!

I see most people running Dragon Claws over Kaiser's for Tifa runs, are the weapon materia that the dragon claws have just more important than the extra attack power that the Kaiser gives?
dragon claws gives increases damage dealt by inique abilites by 15%, atb charge rate up. Kaiser is trash it gives nothing
The gameplay is really cool! Sold my physical copy after going to the gold saucer again, And with the Turks and Rufus boss fight..
Interesting to know some ! moves can be blocked with perfect parry.
You need to have a maxed Precision Block Materia though. It's mostly grab/binding type moves that it guards against
Sadly we can’t do it with sephiroth solo here , finished today the legendary bout with him and he is ridiculous op

I I'm curious, does the dragon claws out dps the Kaiser knuckles?
Kaiser knuckles have more 24 natural attack plus 2 more materia slots, I know the weapon skills are bad but ... Did you test?
if you finish all side and main quest on hard mode you get all the manuscript for all the characters. You get all the materia slots for all weapons too, Dragon Claws gives way better attributes (ATB Charge Up, increases dmg dealt by unique abilites.) Kaiser gives nothing good tbh

yeah gilgamesh is crazy. its so hard to tell what he is doing and has so manu freaking moves. cant practice him bc i already beat him in base game...they should let you practice gilga and sephy...

Performance yes, helps a lot i cant play with 30fps

tu a des astuce pour paré plus facilement ? j ai l impression que tu tape et tu lance la parade en meme temps , la parade est prio dans le jeu ?
@@katsugayashi équipe toi de la matéria Garde précise renforcée, je te conseil de t'entrainer en solo contre Titan par exemple et t'essaye de parer toutes ces attaques. Pour Tifa tu peux rester appuyer sur l'attaque et tu bloque, sa cancel l'uppercut. Bonne chance

@@katsugayashi Non tu ma mal compris, avec Tifa tu peux rester appuyer sur carré, elle va faire un uppercut, Ensuite tu bloque avec R1 pour cancel l'uppercut. Tu peux pas bloquer en restant appuyer sur carré
@@eauvni OK je vois , un peu comme tu peut annuler l animation de l uppercut avec un dash pour juste faire les dégâts et enchaîner plus rapidement les uppercut

Good Job. I'm guessing we'll see a perfect block nerf in the next patch.
Why? Just because a handfull of people can actually play like him? Rest of us still cheeses with brumal form to get it done.
This is where games as a service and the always online attitude has taken us. Any interesting display of skill or mechanics brings an expectation of a nerf. I doubt it'll happen here. Remake just let gamers game and I'm betting the same attitude will follow
I'm guessing they'll reduce the limit fill and ATB fill with it. The no damage mechanic will remain. I'm pretty sure they've already said the limit filling while blocking is a bug ( without the Draconic ring equipped). You can literally fill a full bar with HP - MP materia.

If they touch anything is this specific case it should be nerf to various attack chain attacks (I'm looking at u gilgamesh). this means if u missblock one single attack/ first hit u'll eat full damage of that attack and ur even if u pressing block afterwards or not. This includes full time animation lockout by ur character to do anything in that time - very annoying! if next attack is about to come while u still "stuck" in that animation u'll get that damage too :D

make sur u have all ur materia max, equip precision defense focus and steadfast block on all ur characters, pick cloud tifa and barret, use barrier, pray. You can do this
