They’re children. Children almost always have fuller and longer hair than adults. Because usually the parent has to fight with them to comb their hair and they’re not ripping through their hair like adults do when they’re doing their own hair. A lot of kids cry from seeing the comb. They swear it hurts. It probably does. The point is be as gentle on your own hair as yo would on your own child and you should see the same results eventually.
@@poquitovibes9432 I don't know about all of that, but Ive seen many grown adults w beautiful hair like this. It rly depends on your hair is and how you take care of it. Most of all, just trying it instead of assuming it would look bad on you.
Her hair is beautiful and you did a great job. I just now finished mine. I did them before back in 2020 while on my weightloss journey to keep my hair out of the way. To my surprise, My hair thrived in them. It Grew and thickened up so well. My scalp was easier to keep clean with this regimen also. So I have now decided to bring them back in 2023 and make it my signature style. With twists, I have the same growth as dreads but without the commitment. I also washed my hair in mini twists before and had no breakage and very few shed hairs, only had to go through and retwist on wash day since they would unravel a little. This might not be recommended but I also deep conditioned my hair in them. They’re so cute and versatile. Baby hairs make em even better.
Those twists are still gorgeous-frizz and all. I’m 3 months micro locked (via 2 strand twists), but I really enjoyed wearing the same twists your daughter has, before I took the plunge. 😊
Maybe not. Mini twists are easy to take out. Locs are a commitment. (I LOVE my mini twists, but I also love being able to take them down and wear a twist out any time I please.)
I keep mine in much longer. After so many weeks I divide mine in sections and I redo them whenever I feel like it and you cam easily tell which ones that weren't refreshed.
Gonna be taking down my mini braids today and getting them redone tomorrow😊 I kept mine in for a month as well. My stands are fine and density is thick.. very similar to yours.
Omg my hair would be tangled, nearly matted, and dry by weeks end. Moisturizing would just cause the raw end to curl more and further exacerbate the issue. I wish i knew what everyone else was doing step by step, day by day, so i can figure out where I'm going wrong with this style lol
@@chocolatte522Me too. Honestly my hair does not like to be put in any type of braids or twists, they always come out frizzy and only last about a week.
I do this when I take my hair out of braids and wanna be a little lazy for a few days. My hair is wayyyy shorter and not as full but it still does the job for sure lol
I love to put twists or plats in my 3 girls hair because they have thick long hair and it allows their scalp to breathe whilst being able to put them into different styles in minutes. ❤❤❤
Do you have a video showing how to achieve this? I've been micro-braiding my 'fro, and looking for a chemical-free option that hangs like that!! Awesome!!
Nope, I just leave them alone until I take them down. The only thing I do is add a little gel to the ends to redefine the curls. It's so low maintenance 😊
Love it ! Quick question when you started the mini twist did you start off braiding or or did you just started to twist it ? How did you get it to look so full and neat ?
I actually just posted a full video with all of the details on how to get fluffy and neat mini twists on my channel😊. If it doesn't answer all of your questions, let me know. I'm more than happy to help 💚
Did this for my 135 km thru hike in Ireland so I wouldn't have to deal with my hair for the week, and it was a great style but sadly it isn't even half as full of volumen as hers, even though I did small twists. Would stil do it again though.
Her hair is the same exact texture as mine did u start by braiding the roots a bit or twisting initially. I tried to just do twist but my roots loosen and puff up.
This is the style my hair lives in.
It's the perfect hairstyle! Checks all of the boxes. Protective, cute, versatile, low maintenance, and long-lasting. 😍💚
Sameeeee
I just tried it for the first time😭 they looked reallyyy nice but they still didn’t eat like the girls in my fy😭🫶🏽
Literally.. when I finally take them out and immediately put them back in.
I keep my mini twist and mini braids in rotation
@@idkandwhocares Same😊 but mines a mini twist, then chunky braid rotation
The volume is beautiful.
Thank you!
The frizz is beautiful, makes them look effortless and lived in.❤
Yes, I also love the frizzy look. They also get more full over the days.
@AntiHAESRight! Forget a stank sleek look
Exactly, that's just our hair. It doesn't have to always be laid to the side.
beautiful, I don't think mine will come out this full though 😭
This style gives you volume that you never knew you had lol try it 💚
the smaller the twist the fuller it’ll look
It’s all about the parting. Arch parts or brick layered parts makes it fuller

How many times a week should I wash my twist?
Girl i ended up leaving them for 2 months😭😭😭
@@UnknownUnknown-yl1lt no more than once imo.
Her hairs so beautiful chile 😭👏🏾👏🏾❤

They hair is beautiful. I love mini twists ❤
Absolutely gorgeous head of hair
The song 😢❤
& beautiful twists ofc!!
Yes! This is the look I have been looking for. Beautiful.
frizz is beautiful
Yes it is 😊
The older a style gets the better it looks to me esp braids 💯
Definitely!
Yes it gives it a more natural look. 😊
I love those twists 👍👍🥰💕💕
This is how I started my locs, I love these twists and hers are so full, the frizz is perfect! 😍😍
Thank you! She wants locs at some point. I think I will start them with twists as well.
I love how that looks. It's so beautiful. I will go and get my hair done in mini twists as well. Thank you for that hair idea. Thank you sister. 😊
Thank you so much. I'm glad it was helpful.
"this is your sign to do some mini twists". This is your sign to loc their hair 🥰💕 its beautiful!
Maybe not. Mini twists are easy to take out. Locs are a commitment. (I LOVE my mini twists, but I also love being able to take them down and wear a twist out any time I please.)
😊 thank you
Um, no. Locs are completely different and a big commitment
I keep mine in much longer. After so many weeks I divide mine in sections and I redo them whenever I feel like it and you cam easily tell which ones that weren't refreshed.
That's how it's done. 👏👏👏
Literally have some in right now 🥰
Mine are about three weeks in!
The convenience is unmatched
how long did they take?
What frizz lol
😄
Seriously, looks so good
Om that’s so prettyyyyy
Thank you!
Those would make beautiful locs! 😍
Beautiful hairstyle ❤️

So nice, it's beautiful
Thank you so much 🥰
Doing this todayyy 🙏🏾 love me a protective style without the tension of braids 😩
It is beautiful!!!
Thank you
Love the twists!!!
Thank you so much 💚
this is exactly my hair type and style☺
You've found you hair twin lol
Gorgeoussss 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you!!💚💚💚
My hair could never 😭
Girl same but I'm gonna try🤣🤣

Gorgeous. Also can you post some hairstyles ideas for mini twist. Would be so helpful☺
I will!
@@kellyloganhair Thanks
That last statement felt like you were talking to me. So I’ll just say yes ma’am.😂 I was on the fence but I think I’ll go ahead and do it
😅 💚
I want to do this.. I just don’t want to do them myself 😩😩😭
Fr I would end up with locs 😂

Lol smart thinking 😄
I love it 💗
I have been looking for this content creator and I finally found you 😊, Thankyou for your video
Little ol me 😊 thanks for your support.
I'm going to try this on my daughter
You should!

It looks beautiful, I wanted to ask if you had any trouble loosening the twist because it is so small?
A song choice! 🔥
Can you do like a quick take down on what to use for the take down process?
th-cam.com/users/shortsUwjUEjiyFGM?feature=share
Here's a link to my process ✨️ ☺️
Did you use any products? Did you blow dry the hair first? Thanks for sharing.
Those are looking great for seven days old
I wanted a sign to do the mini twist and this is it😊😊
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 💚💫
Yaasss love love love!! 😍.
Beautiful🥰
Thank you! 😊
So beautiful. Did you use any additional hair ?
Thank you so much. No this is all her 🤗
can you show how you did them
Yes. Tutorial coming very soon.
Do you have a video showing how to achieve this? I've been micro-braiding my 'fro, and looking for a chemical-free option that hangs like that!! Awesome!!
Is it hard to separate?
I recently cut my hair, so I’m going to get micro braids
It’s beautiful! Do you co wash them or do a scalp cleanser at week 2?
Nope, I just leave them alone until I take them down. The only thing I do is add a little gel to the ends to redefine the curls. It's so low maintenance 😊
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Were these blow dried first?
Yes.
I wanna do then but I don’t want to take them out
Just did this on my 2 year old's hair, loving it!
love.
These look great for 7 day old twists. Mine look like trash at day 7 lol
Song: lady in my life - Michael Jackson
I just did mini twist and I found this video. I'm just thinking oh gosh it's TH-cam approved hairstyle 😂😂
🎉🎉🎉 To me
Will these tangle your hair? When trying to remove them?
They get a little bit tangled but I use my hair milk to loosen then up and that makes things a lot easier.
dream length
These are called Kinky Twists. These were popular when I was in high school back in the early 00’s.
This doesn't even look like mini twist they just look like curls suscribed 🤷♀️🥰
🥰
I started some, got 3/4ths of my head done, ran out of time and had to wear a wig for a week before I took all the twists out. 😂
😂
my mom won’t let me get twists cause she knows i’ll purposely let them loc up and she don’t want me having locs 😭
I did. 0 heat, 0 pain. I wanna see what it'll do to my hair.
I want this but I lack PATIENCE 😭😞
7 days and I’m LOCD😭💀
😄 definitely have to be careful. Try keeping them dry it helps a lot, especially for tighter curl patters.
@@kellyloganhairmy hair is a solid 3b😭
How come they stay so well, is that typical?
Yes, I have a full video on minitwists where I go into detail about how to achieve long-lasting twists. It is my most recent long-form video. 💚
Love it ! Quick question when you started the mini twist did you start off braiding or or did you just started to twist it ? How did you get it to look so full and neat ?

Girl I be looking like raggiity Anne 😂
Stop!! 🤣
The irony is I literally made them today about 3hrs before seeing this video 😂❤
How long does the mini twist take to do?
Whew 🙃 5-7 hours.
Did this for my 135 km thru hike in Ireland so I wouldn't have to deal with my hair for the week, and it was a great style but sadly it isn't even half as full of volumen as hers, even though I did small twists. Would stil do it again though.
amazingg
Thank you! 🥰
Me is not making them but to loose them is the problem😊
Same lol

mine last a good 1-2 months
But my hair is small, and it looks weird in them 😭😭
Beautiful! But 3 weeks for something that small isn’t practical for me
I left them in for around 6 weeks
@@kellyloganhair I do the same. I'll retwist them in between though. This is one style that has helped me retain length.
How do you take them down😭
Can you wash your hair in this style?
I've tried, and it always makes them frizz up 😩 Also when I take them down, the detangling process is much tougher.
What are the products used
I'm using my Kelly Logan conditioning curl cream along with my Kelly Logan hair and scalp grease. You can purchase online at www.kellyloganhair.com 💚💫
Where can i buy it?
I just tagged the hair milk. You can purchase both at www.kellyloganhair.com 🤗
I’m waiting on my hair to get an inch longer, so that way when I do it it’ll look nice and long like these. Then I’ll never be getting braids anymore😭
Omg what's the song it's on the tip of my tongue 😢
My hair looks exactly like this just not as long
I wish I could get this but my roots are so puffy 💔
You can do this style with any hair type with the right technique. Watch my most recent minitwist video for some helpful tips. ✨️💚
Neat
Song name yall?
Lol I made my twists very very tiny and I still have a quarter of the twists she has 😂. It’s like 15 strands of hair on my head
They expand over time. Theirs don't look as full on day one 😉
Omg. I last 3 days 😂 My hair doesn't grow as fast if i don't at least wash 1x a week
After a 5-7 hour install they have to stay for at least 4 weeks lol
Please help me with hair oil for afro
❤❤❤
FRIZZZ??? those look great for 7 days
Thanks love. 💚
