CGRSC Final Flight 23Jun2015

“This video documents the flight of the Canadian Government research aircraft, CGRSC from the Ottawa International Airport to Rockcliffe airport for delivery to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. The flight took place on June 23rd, 2015. It contains the audio from the Cockpit Voice Recorder, a simulation of taxi and take off and part of the flight video recorded during the remainder of the flight to the museum. The aircraft, a Convair-580, was used as a Synthetic Aperture Radar platform by Energy Mines and Resource's Canada Centre for Remote Sensing from 1974 to 1996, and then by Environment Canada's Emergencies Sciences Division from 1996 to 2010"
