I was in the Decathlon Store in Leeds and saw this Decathlon/Quechua MH100 tent for £29.99!! I know right... Bargain! Well, I just had to give it a go didn't I :D

I've taken this tent all around Western and then into central and on to Eastern Europe. I'm 6 ft 2 inches. This tent (Aside from the colour) is an excellent all-rounder and has survived late spring summer and early autumn storms...It's extremely spacious and isn't too bad for Bikepacking...

Used this tent for a week, putting it up and taking it down every day. Never used those ropes and had one night with a storm and it held togheter perfectly👌👌👌

Nice little review. I tend to find tents like these, ideal for a quick overnight in the summer, or as a beginner tent for the children.
Yeah I think you've nailed it. I mean with the HH it's got it should withstand some rain.
for the door you can use the toggle through the guy line loop although that does mean having the mesh open as well.

For the money looks great, in reality it is only for having a sleep in next to a canal, not like you will be taking it up a mountain. Great review as always Karl.

Well sir, you should join the outer door and inner door and rol those doors to the guyline marker on the right side, and hook those doors

Seems good for the money. Not sure how strong those green plastic rings on the corners of the fly sheet will be. Do they feel like they’d snap with a gust of wind?
They don't feel like that brittle plastic. Nevertheless, it's a good point 👍😁
Nice to see that the flysheet connectors are colour coded ! Vango need to take note of this 😂. Are you planning on camping out in this Karl or was it just snapped up due to the price?

It's ideal that for a cheap first buy tent. It also looks to pack away sensibly too. Good find
Yeah it does pack away nicely and the attached peg bag is a nice touch. We were both a bit surprised at the price for the product 😊

I am in the process of ordering one tonight to replace my other 2 person tent by the same company I purchased second hand about 5 years ago and I use on the motorcycle for the winter rally up north Wales every early February. If it works the same be ideal for me, motorcycle and gear .

What is this recent trend for anti-stealth tents in bright fabrics?
A lot of the good inflatable tents are the same - great design in principle but you would need camo tarps to hide them.

Me too. I usually have a camo tarp in my pack which I use as a floor sheet under the hammock 👍😊
"There is an instruction, which is quite cool", throws away, "Yeah I did get that wrong (for poles)...I am guessing these are color coded..." dude there was a manual! :D You just need to look at it like for 10s and you will know how to assemble it. That made my day :D

You secure the inner and outer door by using the loop for the guideline

It's not the most spacious tent, but there's nothing so bad about it.
£30 can’t complain mate. Cheap as chips and perfect for a little summer kayak camp adventure

Can't argue with the price. I've been on the verge of ordering a £350 swag, but this is probably going to be a more sensible way of getting into it.
It's definitely worth a punt. I took it on a kayak camp trip in the Cirrus and it was great 👍😊 The video is on here if you're interested 👍

Love french Decathlons gear. Good quality for little money. Dont know how they do it.
They are indeed good value. I've recently bought their Fresh Black 2 second tent, not the pop up one, the one with the pull out cords - it's a ruddy brilliant, easy to set up tent 👍😁

At 6'8, and built like a Number 8, I'd need two of those little tiny wee tents. I've a nice Night Cat two man tent, 240 cm long just perfect for this giant.
