In my last comment on your Realm of the Underworld video before this i mentioned the ghostbusters slime/ectoplasm and now we are all treated to some ghostbusters toys and slime.. NICE! I love it! This video made me laugh and wish i had some slime to play with this Halloween, if only the local stores had some i would pick some up.
Nice, nostalgic review! These Mini Goopers were never released in my country, but I got this pack back in 1990 in a travel to USA. Thankfully I still own them!
+Elton Portilho I'm from a country very close to yours and I was lucky enough to find this very pack in a local toy store in 1988... The only Ghostbusters toy I ever owned, and I still keep them too! But the included ectoplazm was already defective. It was as liquidy then as the one in this video, and some months later it dried up in the canister, leaving a horrid, chemical smell. The only experience with toy slime I ever had wasn't particularly pleasant XD But the translucent figures are super cool and useful: they are great for storing screws and little pieces safely. Btw Elton, absolutely LOVE your art! As a fan of yours, it was a very nice surprise finding you in these comments about a toy I owned!

I always thought it was funny that the ghost containment unit was displayed incorrectly on all the product shots of the Ghostbusters' HQ. It seems a tradition of Hasbro/Kenner that they don't know how their own products work.
Mah childhood! I had pretty much every Real Ghostbusters ghost, loved these things. One word of advice from experience though - getting slime on the heads of those fright-feature Ghostbusters you used can be...not good. The moving parts like the eyes can pull bits of the slime back into the figure's moving crevices and harden, causing slight problems later. Unrelated, but if you don't have the old Mad Scientist "Disect-an-Alien" toy/figure set lined up for this special, I highly recommend you look around for one at some point. One of my favorite "slime" toys as a kid.
Man this review took me back! My friend had the mini gooper ghosts, and I had that huge yellow slug looking one. He was great because you could press the soft tail and he'd blow slime bubbles out of his mouth!
These are some of those toys that I never had, but someone always had one or two lodged deep in a toybox and you only end up running into half of one or the other. Not sure if I've ever held one that was together, much less used one with slime! It's too bad the old slime was bunk - the neon pink color was really cool!
great review, i still need to get these ones for my collection, cant believe you opened the slime, i kind of thought it would be hard rather than watery.
Oh and you know what's great about th Ghostbusters line...that they had red ooze, rather than green.
