I'm a fist year medical student. 2 years ago I was struggling for my university fees and no one was helping me out, my cousin suggested me to take loan from one of these apps and I refused, instead I searched for a job and I was finally hired by an online tutoring company. I skipped one year, didn't take admission and worked for 1 year. I gained the skill, learned the system and when I resigned, I started my own online teaching company. When I see these kind of incidents, I think that refusing to that loan suggestion is one of the best decision I made.
Plz tell me the name of the online teaching website you worked for (if you aren't comfortable then just comment then delete , hopefully this trick will work and only I will know the name through notification)

Well mein nay 15,000 aik shakhs ko diye 2 saal guzarnay kay baad bhi denay ka irada nahein balkay aur maang raha hai kay charity kar do, dosray ko 10,000 diye aik saal honay wala hai lekin aaj aur kal aur aglay maheenay par daal raha hai, teesray banday ko 5,000 diye os ny 3 saaal sy zyada guzarnay kay baad ab call bhi pick nahein karta, aik aur ko 10,000 diye thay takreeban aik saal guzarnay kay baad diye. Qarza denay ka experience acha nahein rehta normally.

Finally, someone speaks about it. This is illegal in Pakistan, PTA just needs to get in touch with App & play store to ban all such apps.
PTA can easily ban these apps but they are not doing because they are getting a hefty pay cut from these apps.

Indian government has banned these apps and these problems have been largely resolved in India.
Indian scammers are calling elderly folks in America and Europe and stealing tons of money probably in billions of dollars every year. Indian government hasn't taken any action against these criminals. Too many innocent people are being taken advantage of by these scammers from India. These scam call centers are based in large and prominent cities such as New Delhi and Calcutta.

Junaid Bhai this problem is rampant in India also. Today only in the city of Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh State Capital) a family of four committed suicide because of this Loan App and it’s trap. Something needs to be done in Sub Continent to crack them down
Google is responsible for these apps, if these apps started targeting western audiences they would ban them. Google is earning money when these apps advertise on their platform.
Yesterday, An Engineering Student, 22, Also committed suicide from Bangalore because of this Chinese Loan App.

Really useful information! This was much needed for our society. Although we cannot understand the emotional state of those going through extreme poverty but humans should always have hope. Struggle on and do humble tasks for earning honest money. Our society has stereotyped negatively doing humble earning, where middle class individual (or any other) feels ashamed of doing humble tasks largely due to the shackled mindset of societal shackles of "Log kya kahenge"

I'm not sure why, as a nation, we don't show support for TH-camrs who provide genuine value through their educational content. These creators are actively educating people in the real world. Instead, we seem to give millions of subscribers to TH-camrs like Ducky Bhai and Maaz Safdar, who don't offer any meaningful value and end up wasting our time. In contrast, the TH-camr I'm referring to provides knowledge, and their contributions are making a tangible difference in the real world. This situation exposes the unfortunate mentality prevalent among our people.

Something same happened with my father they told him that he can get 500k in loan but before the sanctioning the loan they asked him different sort of fee and later on he ended up giving them 204k.
Because of this my family suffered emotionally and psychological.
Would urge everyone who's reading this that it's better to live a life without something rather than going for loan optios.

When I was going through my O levels I didn't and couldn't take tuition and heavily relied on TH-cam for understanding add maths to levels books can't dive into. (People taking add maths know what I mean). At that time PTA decided to ban TH-cam and I had no real way to watch the 80+ hours of videos & lectures I wanted to, I believe I affected my learning badly as PTCL was slow & VPNs were limited at that time. Pakistan pretty much banned education when they did this.
Today I have 2 engineering degrees because of TH-cam, I have studied cad, engineering design and things no university in Pakistan offered as I went abroad and everything else I owe to TH-cam.
But the fact that PTA, State Bank, SECP not only approved these apps they let everything happen for 2y+ of these apps have existed. I know for sure that PTA, cybercrime & SECP is very much aware of these apps, it's not that they are silent it's that they too are involved and have a share in this business.
There's no slither of empathy expected from These idaray who would ban education to ruin an entire batch of engineers or an entire generation would be barred from online education overnight but these apps would actually be permitted, approved & allowed.

These same loan app scams are happening here in India as well. Every month dozens of people commit suicide over these loan app scams.
Doston, if you install any app and it asks your phone's permissions that doesn't make sense related to the actual functionality of that app, then uninstall that app straight away.
For example : If a weather app or a calculator app asks your phone camera or contact list permission, then it's a big red flag!!

Once a general had a personal problem with someone, but because was wearing a military uniform and threatened her, she had to pay the other party nearly 17 thousand dollars in compensation.
Pakistan is a very good country, its people should not live like this
pakistan has cyber police but they receive thousands of complaints daily, plus scammers are from other parts of the country.
Recent governments have enforced measures to counter cyber crime. However, we’re dealing with a vastly uneducated population, rather unaware and easily exploited. Internets still considered a more recent phenomenon in our country, so i guess it’ll take time.
