And this entire film gives me real Father to a Sister of Thought throwback... Must be the horses...
Is it possible not to be? No.
Everything that comes from Stephen Malkmus have the special touch (for me at least). His music is so unique and tasteful! I can't even count the times listening to the "Cold son" or "J Smoov" or even "Send in the clouds" (which is another story) had lifted my broken spirit. It feels very much part of my life and, Stephen, thank you for that.
I like how he's literally up in his ivory tower. It's well earned. I listened to the full album 2 times directly in a row, ending about half an hour ago, with bose headphones. This is TRULY an amazing album. It's almost as if S.M. has a catharsis pedal somewhere on his board.

Solid Silk. That's the song he plays at the end. Best song he has written yet. Just fantastic and I can't get past it on the LP at the moment.

"Bike Lane" Is friggin' sick
There are certain artists, certain people, that you sort of have expectations of what their work will be. With Malkmus, he could pretty much do or say anything and I'm in. So the fact that he's also really still making up great songs is rad.
His music never disappoints me. Looking forward to continually playing the new stuff.

This new record sounds great. Malkmus is back writing great songs. He lost me w the last 3 records. Too psych/jammy.

I’m like *triggered* by the number of shots that are out in the first minute. I am a really working class dude, and my parents decided that tennis lessons with a friend might be beneficial to me, but they are not helping me enjoy this video. Also, I’m still poor after graduating at the top of my class from one of the best schools in the country, so fuck generational wealth.
He really has to work on his form. And the one handed backhand might not be a good choice yet.

Cringeworthy. As Jenkins approaches net about the 1:00 minute mark, he deftly avoids stepping on the balls scattered in front which you should definitely not try at home. My wife was out six-months with a severe sprain.
