@@annafowdy I watched only a few of these back when it was popular, and my biggest takeaway was that these meerkats were some of the worst animal parents I've ever seen lol
I remember watching the meerkat manor with flower and company. These little ones really go thru it as well. The sadness on the face tells all. They are absolutely the most beautiful little ones ever. I adore the meerkat. Hopefully she will learn a lesson from this. 💞
I hate that they changed the narrator for it on demand. The original narration is non existent now.

To this day I still miss Flower and her family. I thoroughly miss the series. The BBC channel ran a series quite similar to Meerkat Manor. I watched and enjoyed, however, there is only one Flower. Jesus is Love

The Dynasty’s ~ The Meerkats & Emperor Penguins make my heart literally break because they are so young, adorable, innocent and their start of life is somewhat unfair and against them, it’s very sad the things we dont know from their habitat daily life, struggles, obstacles. Makes me tear up!!!! 😢
Aaaahhhww, The lil’ baby went back to his home, burrow, the only thing that he knows, due to his family’s ignorance!!!
This episode was absolutely phenomenal and truly a roller coaster of emotions. Revealing the unforgiving and intimate lives of Meerkats in their harsh world. It honestly was a drama full of characters and despite the tears, makes you respect and appreciate this remarkable species and the fragility of life as a whole!
My right ear did not hear anything other than some Meerkats running away in the distance

You need at least two,and they aren’t the easiest pets to keep,but they will form an amazing bond with their owners! I would love a pair of my own someday and where I live,it’s very similar to the place they originally come from.
What a crazy shot that was, as the mum runs exhausted by the very last pup and as she passes by, the last little survivor comes out the den and unites with mum.
The last pup died in a rainstorm later 😭

Those poor pups, especially the ones that didn't make it! At least they weren't deliberately left behind. It'd be an unusual thing for meerkats to abandon their pups. They're my 2nd favorite African animal, after hyenas!
Yeah, such a thing can only happen when either the group or whoever is leading them doesn't know what they're doing or if they're left with no other choice.

Hard lessons occur if the parents do not exercise caution!
A truism that applies to creatures AND humans.
For meerkats, if the parents are not imprinted with behavior that protects pups, this is what happens: the line of that dynasty ends, as it should.
Humans can keep animals as pets if they're only good breeds but not all because the wild animals must live on their own and in families or groups.

They sometimes put remote-controlled cameras on wheels and disguise them as stones.
