I'm currently in collage and I'm target training my ferret for a huge assignment and this video has already helped me out so much in getting started thank you ❤
I really love your videos! They're always so helpful. My ferrets still don't quite understand the clicker (we think one is partially deaf. He uses the hand cues way more) but they do know quite a few tricks like up, spin, follow, jump, climb (more so used for walks so if I see a dog or wildlife and my hands aren't able to pick them up they know how to climb up my leg and hide in my jacket 😂), and paw. Right now they're learning the hardest command for a ferret, Stay.
Hello. I was wondering where did you get that gate in the background? I have tried so many different gates to keep my ferrets from going down my stairs and eating my shoes lol.
Simons is huge , id be lucky to get him down a rabbit hole thats for sure ( generally use small gills ) ( and albinos if hunting with hawks and ferrets ) .. .' Great vids though .. hes a " boster " ( as well say in the black country ) ( thats central England btw ) .. oh , and " boster " means big, chunky , hefty , ect .. which is meant in a positive context ... great vid .. loving simon
@@TheTrainedFerret Well ( basically ) you send the ferret down the Warren , the rabbit bolts out followed by the ferret ( albino ) , the hawke is released and swoops down on the rabbit , it wont attack the ferret , a friend of mine used an Harris hawk for this I believe .. he also owned shop selling ALL thing ferret , both pet goods , and hunting goods ( ie locators , purse nets ect )
Because of simons weight , is he unhealthy ? Like is he considered overweight in a bad way ? Because my new ferret is getting chunky too :( I don’t want him to have Insulinoma but what causes insulinoma ?

Everybody notices the Ferret Proof Gate because they your standard child corral gate is useless against Ferret Superpowers.

No he is not overweight in a bad way. He is just big overall due to being intact and genetics.
