The reason why most people say it's such a bad weapon is the fact that it gives you radiation damage just for you to use it, which, in certain playtrhoughs like in Survival Mode, can make the Assaultron Head not worth it at all.
You're using the acid Soaker completely wrong. Yes it's tax. All you have to do is soak your enemy at the start of a fight and then switch to a different weapon reapply.

It's sad to see how the 45. Auto SMG went from being stupidly and hilariously overpowered (Fallout: NV, Honest Hearts) to being stupidly and frustratingly shitty in the next installment. (Fallout 4)
A Herald of The Aphotic Shadows I understand you. The SMG is dogshit. It does not have any good upgrade path, it’s absurdly heavy and just overall terrible. Even the spray n pray was dissapointment
I got a wounding submachine gun (25 bleed per shot). Needless to say it was pretty funny shooting something a few times and watching their health plummet.
fluff dafire yup, pop someone with a lock joint syringe and then walk over and shoot them in the face. On its own though it is garbage. Unless you plan to just sneak around and shoot all the people in an area with Berserk syringes. Similar to what I used to do all the time in Skyrim with frenzy, makes clearing places super easy
Complementary to what? A minigun shred? A fatman to the face? If you're sneaky you don't really want to make the enemy fall over like a stick before killing him, it's pointless at best. If your full commando, you don't really care if they do fall over like a stick, you're already in the thicc of battle, swaping guns is just bad practice. If you're gonna blow him the hell up, you just can't be bothered to make him fall over like a stick. The ONLY practical use for this weapon is making people go berzerk. Nothing else. Also, he did realize it, he said himself that the weapon could be useful and fun, if the syringes were a bit less awkward to craft.
8:37 - My best guess is that the .50 caliber guns in the game are using .50 AE (Action Express), instead of .50 BMG (Browning Machine Gun), as that is the only way the damage could be so paltry, and the guns themselves so puny. However, the weight of the rounds in Survival suggest that they actually _are_ .50 BMG, so I really don't know what the fuck Bethesda was thinking. It wouldn't surprise me if everyone on the dev team was "firearms illiterate."
They have no idea what they're doing. This isn't just proven by the .50cal debacle, but also the combat rifle being chambered in .45acp, and the pipe guns being mechanically impossible/unlikely.
No, they're 50 BMG. Bethesda initially planned to add a 50 cal light support machinegun to the game but eventually scrapped the idea, leaving a lot of gaps in the entire system, especially the hunting rifle (I reconstructed the LMG as a mod from the data still found in the game, and I can see why they scrapped it: a 50 cal LMG would have made every other heavy weapon completely obsolete because it couldn't be balanced in the vanilla game).
They really needed to implement .50 caliber rounds like they did in FNV with the Anti-materiel rifle. That gun was so good, especially with the GRA add-on that gave you explosive and incendiary rounds. I felt like a badass going around one-shotting enemies with my explosive AMR, but in F4, I can barely plink enemies with my .50 hunting rifle. What were they thinking?
cody virginia I thought it was balanced well. It was never too powerful when I used it, but I didn't exploit the incendiary glitch. If you didn't want to spend an inordinate amount of money on weapon mods, the AMR was almost impractical to use, considering its weight, bolt-speed and loudness.
He said that has no real upgrades to increase the damage WITHOUT making the range worse by half. Way to only put in what you want to manipulate the outcome of your comment. Shady as fuck.
I found an irradiated flamer on one of my playthroughs. That thing makes very short work of human enemies. I destroyed all the Gunners at Greentech Genetics with it.
@@darrylhamlin7475 It will require you to be level 50, but IMO by level 50 you should be specing into this 9/10 times considering how useful it is with ferals, children of atom, wild creatures, and various weapons. You could argue that by level 50 you should have enough rad-aways and rad-x's that it's essentially meaningless, but you can always just sell those for caps, and it also saves you time from actually using them. (You could also say that it diminishes one of the key gameplay elements, but it itself is a gameplay element, but I would understand if someone chose to avoid this perk to keep the game more challenging/natural)
I disagree about the 50 cal weapons. My build is around a stealth character, ninja perks, sandman perks, and using a two-shot or instigating prefix 50 cal sniper rifle. I've taken down behemoths and mirelurk queens with one shot that way. Not to mention other tough enemies. Otherwise, good list.
Totally agree with everything you say. With the right perks and a stealth/sniper mentality, I think it's one of the best weapons in the game. My instigating .50 rifle does massive damage on the first shot.
On my last playthrough, I found and Explosive Radium Rifle that just WRECKED EVERYTHING. It did TONS of damage once my Commando and Demolition Expert perks were maxed, plus a lot of extra damage when my Nuclear Physicist was set to two. Hell, I got rid of my Spray And Pray altogether, and almost never got out my usual Instigating Sniper Rifle with .50 cal.
The problem with the .50 cal is not that it is bad, it isn't, these sneaky build can use it quite well, flat damage values are great, the problem is that it is outclassed by a lot of things that it really shouldn't be, like a 5.56 or a shotgun, both of which are cheaper to craft and find, and the latter being so much strong that the weakest shotgun outclasses the best .50, provided you land the full shot. Also, there's Gauss Rifle for you, if you want TRUE damage...
Remember the Helios 1 laser? Those beacons should be at least that powerful to be worth using and giving one extra after 1 player day would finally solve the distribution problem

To those of you like me that like the 50 cals in the game, I think this list was made as if the player walked out of the vault and into an armory with every gun in the game, but no bullets. That's the only way I can see how price would even come into play. By the time you're able to craft 50 cal receivers, you have too many caps to care about, so the price of the round shouldn't matter lol
MrWinAgain it’s not that the 50 caps are bad in the sense of there usefulness. As a matter of fact, if you are a stealth/sniper build, 50 cals will be a great choice for you and very useful, the problem with them is that they just aren’t the best sniper rifle in terms of usefulness with other builds. 308’s tend to be more versatile and while damage may not be as high, there upgrade path is a little easier and ammo spawns more frequently, gauss rifles have superior damage and accuracy when invested in the right perks and mods. Really, they’re bad just because there are others that are better in terms of usefulness, which is sad because 50 cals in general are actually very useful, which Bethesda screwed up
Funny thing about the flamer, as I'm sure you've noticed, is that it causes Sentry Bots to overheat quicker. So while it's not terribly useful in most cases, it does have that going for it.
The Pipe weapons suck in general. They're good starting out, but once you get a Submachine Gun or a Combat Rifle, there's no reason to take your Pipe SMG out anymore.
A fully modded pipe rifle is an excellent companion weapon against low-tier raiders, dogs, ghouls etc, as .38 is almost limitless in this game. Give it to Piper and watch her shine. And given how many of them you will find in any single raider camp, they also make very good settler weapons until you attack your first synth stronghold and get hold of dozens of institute laser rifles.
The 10mm is inferior in range compared to a pipe rifle and potentially not enough ammo available early on. The 10mm is possibly better if you have the Gunslinger perk and use VATS a lot.
I use the pipe revolver a lot as I engjoy popping bos/raider cores with it and at times using it to blowing the bos brains out with it. I use the syringer with one of my sniper builds and have found it useful. I think it comes down to skill and or playing style.
I guess being a sniper in game I don't mind slow firing weapons as enemys tend to die with one or two shots with my rifles be it a pipe revolver rifle or my hunting rifle. nw weapons I have never used(don't like them), My Deliverer and pickman's knife are my go to close range and hth weapons of choice.
Anthony Monaghan depends on the level I used a suppressed .50 sniper for awhile but after level 40 it took about 3 shots without vats to kill anything and it only has a 7 shot clip so it really isn’t worth using
I think the puny power increase is so sneak attacks with a modded hunting rifle aren’t overly powerful. Dunno, that’s my best guess. I agree though, the .50 upgrade is working well for me in stealth. But I have a realistic limb damage mod too so my experience can’t be trusted.
Erin Moody it is really just that the increase in damage from a multiplicative stand point is way less then the price increase. It isn’t a gun you should buy ammo for. However go ahead and use a 50 cal weapon whenever you find some ammo for it. It is bad from a damage per bottlecap spent stand point however if you just only use ammo you find it’s perfectly fine.
I actually managed to turn the Acid Soaker into a fairly amusing, if not very effective, joke weapon using console commands. I forgot the order exactly, but I basically attached the legendary weapon effects of the Automatic Laser Musket and the December’s Child (M4 Carbine) to it, as somehow those two can stack if done properly. The result is a very weak, VERY fast-firing laser pistol that takes 5.56 mm rounds for some stupid reason. If you want to use it just as an Acid Soaker, just slap the M4 Carbine effect on it and it’ll consume 5.56 mm ammo and also fire and reload slightly faster. Oh, and one sidenote about the Salvaged Assaultron Head: with maxed out Ghoulish, you can basically use it to heal yourself in exchange for fusion cells, faster than a stimpack will heal you in Survival. If you find yourself with a surplus of fusion cells and short on stimpacks, this can be a lifesaver (albeit one that’s only available with heavy investment in the Endurance tree, but if you’re playing Survival and not running a stealth build, then you should have a lot of points in Endurance anyway), and I took advantage of this in my Mechanist build.
Game Soob unless you heavily invest in solar power in which case radiation slowly goes away. Also there are legendary perks that benefit from being irradiated. There is a build to make out of this.
Let’s be honest the homing beacon is fun when u have an absolute hoard of enemies charging toward and u are using a mod that gets rid of the cool down and absolutely spamming it into the board and just let the chaos unfold
The Base damage of the Submachine Gun is 10, the Powerful Receiver bumps that up to 16. But you also need to factor in the Commando Perk and the Guns and Bullets magazines. Each issue of Guns & Bullets adds a +5% Critical Damage. Commando Rank 1: 20% damage increase with automatic weapons Commando Rank 2: 40% more damage. Improved hip fire accuracy. Commando Rank 3: 60% damage increase. Hip fire accuracy increased Commando Rank 4: 80% damage increase. Chance to stagger enemies. Commando Rank 5: automatic weapons do double damage. Increased chance to stagger enemies. The Guns and Bullets perk mag and the Commando perk all affect the performance of automatic weapons.
GBRyker61 yeah, but isn't it just better to use the combat rifle then? All those benefit that as well and it has better stats all around (with the exception of rof I think)
URANIUM REAPER the difference is it'll be a few levels before you find a Combat Rifle. The .45 Auto SMG is easier to find. You can either get one from Trashcan Carla or Truddy at Drumline Dinner. The .45 SMG is a few steps up from a Pipe weapon.
10:43 a Can confirm. I’ve been using my Pepperspray for a majority of my playthrough. Ammo was a bit annoying at first, but once I started looking for it instead of just relying on what I found in the wild, it became the opposite of a problem. I actually have a Spray n Pray sitting on a shelf in my main settlement, but I still use the PR for it’s lighter weight and better sights.
Somebody has apparently never played an RPG before. While it looks and feels like a modern shooter, Fallout still has its roots in the roleplaying genre. You do realize, that you don't just use every weapon with every type of character, right? For example, while the .44's fire rate is absolute garbage and the .50cal ammunition is heavy and expensive (
I have a legendary hunting rifle I've stashed away waiting to be converted to .50 caliber once I get gun nut 3. Reason is as follows: I am playing a sniper build, so I have a scoped combat rifle using .45, a scoped hunting rifle using .308 and the overseer's guardian. I can silence the first two at gun nut 3, the latter at 4. I just want 3 viable rifles using different calibers should I ever run low on a particular type.
Looking back at the Assaultron head, i think turning it into a power armor mod would be a lot more interesting and useful. Perhaps an arm modification, similar to the Yautja Plasma Caster (aka Predator shoulder cannon). Especially given that the available arm mods do nothing if you don't care about melee. Would have been a great alternative. Make it take the grenade hotkey and use Fusion Core power (and have it conflict with the jetpack, regardless of which part it would be a mod for). Hold the grenade key to charge it up for a max of 5 seconds, costing 10% power per second, then press the grenade key again to fire. Boom, now you're a psuedo assaultron (or ironman if you prefer).
The assaultron head is actually really good, you just have to give it to a pistol specing companion. They'll always shoot a fully charged shot, and they don't take radiation damage.
The 50 Cal usually isnt worth it but if you have the right perks(rifleman, sniper etc) and the right bonus add ons from either followers or dlc(nuka-world operator perk) they can be deadily also the anti-matiriel rifle fully upgraded is insane with what i just mentioned
You might have overlooked the benefits of the acid soaker. One shot of the acid soaker will drop enemy damage resistance by 50, for 7 seconds (non-stacking). So it's actually not a bad 'consumable' to take down hard targets for a gunslinger build. Tag an enemy with an acid shot, then swap to a quick firing weapon like the deliverer, and you can get a lot of value from that one shot.
The stringer is marginally useful for one thing. I use the mind cloud syringe to sneak up behind raiders in power armor and pickpocket their fusion core. This is useful because if you kill them while still in the armor, you don't get the core. But yes, beyond this, it isn't very useful.
What I think can improve some of these weapons, I'm not a game designer and I'm aware some of these ideas may or may not be good ideas but these are some kinds of improvements I think would be nice for some of these weapons: Assaultron Head: Offer more kinds of upgrades like more "cranks"/more damage upgrade offers, upgrades to either reduce or completely remove the rads damage to your player and an upgrade that gives it a similar feel to the standard Assaultron heads from Assaultron's (constant laser beam) oh and it also really sucks in Fallout 76 too so It would be nice to see this happen to the 76 version of this weapon too Submachine Gun: Buff up the damage a bit and give it some upgrade variety (clip sizes, different sights, different ammo receivers) Syringer: Give it more upgrade variety to kind of what it has already in Fallout 76, instead of crafting the different kinds of syringes, turn them into barrels or receivers for the kind of effects and or damage. and an upgrade that allows the player to shoot more than one syringe similar to the effect of syringe guns from TF2 in a way (same thing with the 76 version of this too, it's not that very good) Meat Hook: Reduce the level requirement for it and beef up the damage a little bit Acid Soaker: Greatly increase its damage output and give it a few upgrades (ammo capacity, automatic acid firing) Homing Beacon: Reduce the nuke delays and increase the blast radius of the nukes
I don't want to sound like I'm bitching but you might want to crank up the difficulty because when you were talking about how weak the asaltron R.I.P Spelling head is you were taking out deathclaws with ease Also I think that the idea behind the acid soker is that you use the damage over time and the reduced damage proctoin R.I.P Spelling to make you deal more damage with a different gun like you get your soker shoot once or twice then swap to any other gun and use that to deal more damage
The pipe revolver is my favorite of the pipe weapons. I used pistol, and had so much 45 ammo. Also, it was legendary. It was great, because it did around 50 dmg per shot.
I have a Junkie’s cane named “Grandpa’s Off his Meds”. I’d also recommend a mod that makes weapons deal more reasonable damage for .50 cal, miniguns, and Gatling lasers, along with other unmentioned weapons.
Am I the only one that thinks that thinks the Synth relay grenade is useless? Like yes the synths do help kill sometimes but if you are not with the Institute you only have like 15 of them and the Synths do fight you also. Just a mention.
Not gonna lie, the infinite crank laser musket is op af cause you can put 999 cranks into it, now multiply the damage by 999 and you have a rifle that can 1 shot just about anything with premeditated preparation
The MIRV can be really effective, but only at the cost of a critical hit in vats. This can be remedied if you have a high luck stat, the critical banker perk or a weapon such as the deliverer that can fill your critical meter without using too many action points
Seems like a bunch of these are based on misuse. The SMG has better DPS than the Combat Rifle and Assault Rifle while also being more plentiful and easy to find than those guns. Additionally the Spray'n'Pray legendary is only outshined by the DLC weapon Splattercannon. Also .50 cal weapons are not about DPS but going for max top end damage for Sneak based builds. A difference of 11 points of base damage (or 27 in the case of Reba II) is a huge difference when you factor in all the Sneak Attack multipliers. Lastly, comparing the value of weapons based on ammo cost makes me laugh. If you are struggling to maintain ammo you are likely doing something very wrong.
Ashtarte the spray n pray is pretty bad. The kiloton radium rifle is weigh better. You can upgrade it further and you can even change the barrel to automatic. Plus, it deals additional radiation damage which is especially dangerous to human type enemies. The spray n pray is much heavier and the damage is on par with the automatic pipe rifle. Even the added explosive effect doesn’t help as much as you think. Believe me, I put these weapons head to head to almost every enemy in the game (both were fully upgraded and had the most powerful mods) and the kiloton radium rifle won almost all the trials. So avoid the god damn spray n pray, it’s trash
I think the point of the acid soaker is to shoot a tough enemy once or twice and then switching to a better weapon for higher dps from the weakened damage resistance
But what about the paddle ball? 1. It can be found in the Nuka world DLC at the Nuka Cade 2.Needs tickets to own it I don't know how much though 3.A melee weapon 4.String is probably hard to come across I think...I don't know

With creation club, you can get anti material rifles from New Vegas which use .50cal ammo. Not only is it really good, but the quest to get it is really fun.
SMG with exploding rounds takes the biggest cake i've ever seen. I bought this thing from someone in the Bunker Hill, and this thing is... well, to say that its really good is to say nothing.
i got a legendary that was pretty much spray and pray when i played through the first time. it killed everything, including my interest in fallout 4. i'm truly just now coming back to the game at all, and now i find out that spray and pray is buyable(not random drop only), cheap, and easy to get. Zzzz
Meathook is good early game as i got it as a legendary +30% damage against animals but its not good late game as its damage gets overtaken by better weapons like the bloodletter or powerfist
I always get a bit huffy at your pipe revolver hate, but i get it. I will admit that it is objectively worse than a lot of guns. That said, my first couple survival playthroughs of the game, back before the survival overhaul, it handled everything just fine, and I loved the gunslinger style of it. My build was perception/luck with a side of agility, and my revolver was vats enhanced with a stub barrel for minimum AP cost and calibrated powerful receiver. Added in vats enhanced/ultra-light armor pieces until I could get the full 16 shot vats volley. Perks kept my AP from ever emptying. Never had to buy .45 ammo. Only had to pull out the .44 revolver once I got into far harbor and nuka world. I wasn't interested in the survival overhaul, so I pulled back to very hard when it dropped. Nowadays, I just use a decent .38 revolver mod. Would love a That Gun mod, but I play on ps4, so unless CC releases one, it's not gonna happen.
Definitely. Just don't try to use it in VATS, the Flamer suffers from a glitch associated to its projectile type which causes it to deal no damage in VATS but also not consume ammo.
1st the good: I like the analysis of the pipe revolver. In my opinion the best FO4 weapon analysis you've done! You consider aspects like ease of upgrade. The Cane's merit is its coolness factor. Goes well with a Bowler and Suit. One weapon I miss in the listing is the Paddle ball (from Nuka World).
Can't complain about those weapons to be honest - they gave me a good reason to create my own mods in order to fix most of them (next stop: Minuteman III beacons). ^^
Hey puma, agree with your assessment of the submachine gun. Usually whenever I play Fallout 4 one of the mods that I use actually gives you a .38 receiver for it. It does lower the damage a bit, however, by this time I have the Spray 'N' Pray, and the .38 receiver doubles the magazine capacity size so that I have a 200 round mag., explosive submachine gun. It's a good way to use the extra .38 ammo that you have at mid game.
His point is that 50 calibar ammo is a pretty uncommon ammo type and rhe difference in damage between it and a reciever for a different ammo type on weapons like the sniper/hunting rifle isn't high enough to make much a difference. He would have likely one shot that enemy anyway with a 380 reciever.
CatManThree goes meow yeah, but sniper rifles aren’t chewing through ammo like automatics. They kill in 1 or 2 shots. And when you do find the ammo, you get like 20 rounds at once.
I have a legendary walking cane that I give to Nick because I think it goes with his character the most. All my companions have a legendary ranged and a melee in case they run out of ammo. Honestly, I find it funny to see him hitting people with a cane. Such an old man.

While the spray n pray is good in its right of the explosive effect, the overall is god awful. It has one of the worst upgrade paths and when fully upgraded, it’s pretty on par with a pipe smg, which is terrible. The kiloton radium rifle is so much better. You deal more damage, better upgrade path, explosive effect, and radiation damage which especially dangerous against humans. I fully nodded both weapons, with there strongest mods, and most of the time, the radium rifle won.
It's sad to see how the 45. Auto SMG went from being stupidly and hilariously overpowered (Fallout: NV, Honest Hearts) to being stupidly and frustratingly shitty in the next installment. (Fallout 4)
But wait it’s not truly fallout 4 because there is fallout NV technically making fallout 4 fallout 5
A Herald of The Aphotic Shadows I understand you. The SMG is dogshit. It does not have any good upgrade path, it’s absurdly heavy and just overall terrible. Even the spray n pray was dissapointment
Cameron Malkoske Spray and Pray wasn’t so much shitty for me, more like a let-down.
Then again, so was my explosive .50 cal sniper rifle
Right
I got a wounding submachine gun (25 bleed per shot). Needless to say it was pretty funny shooting something a few times and watching their health plummet.
Someone clearly doesn't realize the syringe rifle is a complementary weapon
fluff dafire yup, pop someone with a lock joint syringe and then walk over and shoot them in the face. On its own though it is garbage. Unless you plan to just sneak around and shoot all the people in an area with Berserk syringes. Similar to what I used to do all the time in Skyrim with frenzy, makes clearing places super easy
I think his biggest point as to why its on this list is simply because the ammo requires specific junk to craft.
isn't it called the syringer?
The vault dweller the full name in the game files is the syringer rifle and that's how I know it
Complementary to what?
JLSpeaks it was outright broken though. Especially the incendiary VATS glitch
cody virginia I thought it was balanced well. It was never too powerful when I used it, but I didn't exploit the incendiary glitch. If you didn't want to spend an inordinate amount of money on weapon mods, the AMR was almost impractical to use, considering its weight, bolt-speed and loudness.

(You could also say that it diminishes one of the key gameplay elements, but it itself is a gameplay element, but I would understand if someone chose to avoid this perk to keep the game more challenging/natural)
Like the perk that he mentioned in the worst perk vid?
The thing is, the .50 ammo is extremely expensive to get. Compared to what damage it does do, I find it is just better to rely on my old reliable.

Btw, "Equilibrium: Weapons (balance enhancements)" mod fixes all the issues mentioned in the video.

The Pipe weapons suck in general. They're good starting out, but once you get a Submachine Gun or a Combat Rifle, there's no reason to take your Pipe SMG out anymore.
GBRyker61 I used a submachine gun thinking it was good until I found the spray and pray
I think semi/fully automatic pipe weapons are just as good as submachineguns. Easy to obtain and mod into whatever flavour you desire.
I’m level 165 and I have only used the pipe weapons once when I was level 1 then I was level 2 and found out that the 10mm pistol was better
The 10mm is inferior in range compared to a pipe rifle and potentially not enough ammo available early on.
The 10mm is possibly better if you have the Gunslinger perk and use VATS a lot.
imagine you are just chilling with your friends and a guy in a powerarmor with an assaultrons head as a weapon walks in and starts blasting everybody

Anthony Monaghan depends on the level
I used a suppressed .50 sniper for awhile but after level 40 it took about 3 shots without vats to kill anything and it only has a 7 shot clip so it really isn’t worth using
Just because you use it doesn't mean it isn't bad
I think the puny power increase is so sneak attacks with a modded hunting rifle aren’t overly powerful.
Dunno, that’s my best guess.
I agree though, the .50 upgrade is working well for me in stealth. But I have a realistic limb damage mod too so my experience can’t be trusted.
@@Profilejc98 just because he knows how to use it doesnt mean its bad
Is it possible with console to apply two effects on one weapon if not then i give up

What I think can improve some of these weapons, I'm not a game designer and I'm aware some of these ideas may or may not be good ideas but these are some kinds of improvements I think would be nice for some of these weapons:
Assaultron Head: Offer more kinds of upgrades like more "cranks"/more damage upgrade offers, upgrades to either reduce or completely remove the rads damage to your player and an upgrade that gives it a similar feel to the standard Assaultron heads from Assaultron's (constant laser beam) oh and it also really sucks in Fallout 76 too so It would be nice to see this happen to the 76 version of this weapon too
Submachine Gun: Buff up the damage a bit and give it some upgrade variety (clip sizes, different sights, different ammo receivers)
Syringer: Give it more upgrade variety to kind of what it has already in Fallout 76, instead of crafting the different kinds of syringes, turn them into barrels or receivers for the kind of effects and or damage. and an upgrade that allows the player to shoot more than one syringe similar to the effect of syringe guns from TF2 in a way (same thing with the 76 version of this too, it's not that very good)
Meat Hook: Reduce the level requirement for it and beef up the damage a little bit
Acid Soaker: Greatly increase its damage output and give it a few upgrades (ammo capacity, automatic acid firing)
Homing Beacon: Reduce the nuke delays and increase the blast radius of the nukes
I don't want to sound like I'm bitching but you might want to crank up the difficulty because when you were talking about how weak the asaltron R.I.P Spelling head is you were taking out deathclaws with ease
Also I think that the idea behind the acid soker is that you use the damage over time and the reduced damage proctoin R.I.P Spelling to make you deal more damage with a different gun like you get your soker shoot once or twice then swap to any other gun and use that to deal more damage

@Ashtarte he is misusing them. The
.50 sniper rifle deals a damage of 64 and he is aiming everywhere but for the head.

I just found a wounding flamer
Is it worth keeping
Bryan Veronica is water wet?
Bryan Veronica if your a heavy guns character it is keeping
If you are a heavy guns character it is worth keeping edited
Definitely. Just don't try to use it in VATS, the Flamer suffers from a glitch associated to its projectile type which causes it to deal no damage in VATS but also not consume ammo.
Yes modify it but don't touch the nozzle.
1st the good:
I like the analysis of the pipe revolver.
8:45 hell yeah I want it to feel like I'm firing 50bmg not 5.56 in a high caliber rifle. Give me a boom like the halo sniper
I’ve been playing fallout4 for the last 2 years and I’ve never fired/used any pipe weapon...
You sound like you're malfunctioning when you say Yangtze :P
I didn't groan when i came across my ledgendary walking cane because it was crippling
He’s a hypocrite!!
a 50.cal sniper is a 1 shot kill if sneaking or going loud when sniping in game
His point is that 50 calibar ammo is a pretty uncommon ammo type and rhe difference in damage between it and a reciever for a different ammo type on weapons like the sniper/hunting rifle isn't high enough to make much a difference. He would have likely one shot that enemy anyway with a 380 reciever.
CatManThree goes meow yeah, but sniper rifles aren’t chewing through ammo like automatics. They kill in 1 or 2 shots. And when you do find the ammo, you get like 20 rounds at once.
I just got a "ghoul slayer's minigun"
Love you man
I have a legendary walking cane that I give to Nick because I think it goes with his character the most. All my companions have a legendary ranged and a melee in case they run out of ammo. Honestly, I find it funny to see him hitting people with a cane. Such an old man.
Oh no not enough upgrades bullcrap
I found it fun to break legs with a regular, nice looking cane.
I'm gonna guess you're gonna say acid soaker even this it is the best gun in the game 100 percent not being sarcastic
Kieran Jones depends
DrIvanRadosivic nah its the best gun in the game
I got a chinese officer sword witha the legendary kneecaper efect and then I died
Awesome Destroyer I got one with the same effect but with a electrified serrated blade
I got a Max upgraded Bloodied Combat Shotgun while killing a Legendary Mr. gutsy then died to a assaultron using it's laser
