Hey guys, back with another Fallout 4 video and today, I figured I would go ahead and go over some of the Best and Coolest Legendary Guns and Weapons in Fallout 4. Now Legendary Guns aren't to be confused with Unique Weapons as Unique Weapons have specific names, locations and a specific legendary weapon effect. Legendary Weapons can be almost any weapon with virtually any Legendary Weapon Effect and in this video, i'm going to go over some of my Favorites!

somerandom guy nope, ghouls get healed by radiation damage so a gamma gun will actually heal ghouls when you shoot the with it, so a ghoul slaying gamma gun would actually heal ghouls more, that's the joke!

If you find a wounding laser weapon (pretty rare, in my experience), hang onto it. It's devastating when you add the scatter attachment as it seems each beam applies the wounding effect separately. I believe this would also work on a shotgun, but I haven't tested its effectiveness.
I have a wounding db shotgun and it’s pretty op. It kills most base level enemies and most ranks of raiders with one shot. Haven’t come across many enemies yet that can take two shots and live.
Got a wounding laser pistol on my first survival play though and it’s so insanely powerful with the scatter attachment

personally i prefer the two shot mirv on a character built for maxed out crit meter charge and crit damage.
thanks to the crits you will alway hit your enemies with the full blast, insane damage and relatively safe.

Do you want a wepon I hate? It's called the two shot combat shotgun of course you will think it's amazing from the name and the bizarre damage you will see on it but that stupid wepon refuse to hit anything with its 0 accuracy I'm serious it really has 0 in accuracy you have to ask the enemy to stand infront of the barrel to deal a quarter of the damage you see on the wepon and Even with with all of my effort in trying to make the thing useable I couldn't if you find this wepon pretend you didn't see it
my favorite enchantment/Legendary was a Combat Shotgun with Explosive damage. I loved it. another one I had was a Plasma infused Lever Action Rifle. both where on my Alice playthrough

The wounding shotgun can stack each pellet and cause legendary enemy's to die from one or two hits even at level 50+
Guys, we all know that the most powerful legendary weapon is the incendiary pipe pistol.

The Never-ending Double-Barreled Shotgun should definitely get an honorable mention here, because there is a certain quirk about it that it has an absolutely insane fire rate actually, but normally you of course get a reload every two shots so you don't really notice it much... However with unlimited magazine capacity it turns into a shotgun with a firing rate almost as fast as you can click :p
Yod is not happy. You failed to mention the Medic's Fatman, or the Freezing Flamer. Plus, Lego Yod's favourite: the Ghoul-Slaying Gamma Gun.
What about the irradiated Fatman? It only applies the radiation on direct hit :)

Never ending doublebarreled shotgun is so over powererd 0.0, it goes through ammo fast but it so much fun to use!

On one of my earliest characters, I got an explosive pipe rifle - it's actually pretty good.
I got the Wounding 10mm pistol. Made my survival mode no mods playthrough extremely easy. It’s in my storage now
I know this is an old video, but my favorite legendary is the explosive radium rifle I got off a triggerman. It already had ballistic and radiation, but now it also does explosive, which has been the only reason I survived many encounters, especially once I made it automatic.

THERE IS NO BLEED RESISTANCE IN FALLOUT 4.
Wounding Shotgun applies stacks faster than the ripper, specifically the double barrel. This thing is deadly, even against the toughest enemies in the game. They melt so fast that I can't think of a simile with similar melting rates.

Wounding is best found on high fire / attack rate weapons.
Ripper and automatic weapons make the list, bleeding on a rolling pin doesn't do much of anything. Pickmans blade has wounding effect and will do better.

I have a wounding rolling pin and I wiped out an entire raider base. It took like 20 mins but its the thought that counts

One downside of two shot legendary effect is that two shot effect increases weapons recoil considerably. So, for automatic weapons I mostly prefer the assasins effect.
Isn't the Strenght 7 perk good for that ?
I found something better than a Rapid Gatling Laser. It's a Wounding Gatling Laser, and it just melts enemies
For number 2, the never ending effect is OP on the double barrel shotgun

In a game I was so lucky that I got the Exploding Minigun, literally it ended the game right there, it was like having a 300+ level in Skyrim with weapons doing over 1000dmg. It was THAT OP

No it's not. Explosive shotgun is more powerful, and versatile. It can be used like a silent grenade launcher. If aim perfectly. You can kill an entire group of enemies in one shot. I'v killed 4 to 5 rust devils with 1 shot.
It a grenade sniper. I love it!
Poison plasma rifle with the fire damage receiver, great gun with 4 different damage types
Ayyyyyy I actually got the explosive minigun, it's literally my best weapon and the mechanist fight was a breeze
So far I received a Laser Musket with the Deadeye effect. 6 shot charge with the slowed time makes it my best sniping weapon. I love it!
I've only ever seen the wounding effect appear on one weapon, a 10mm pistol. In fact, it was my very first legendary weapon in my first playthrough! I kept that thing the entire playthrough lmao, it was awesome for saving weight!
18 play throughs later and I haven't seen any wounding weapons other than that first one. Sad times :(
to everyone who is complaining at the 360p cap the video is barely uploaded give it a day or so and maybe the quality will raise.

Jumping Buddy i also have that mod and my favorite from that mod was the never ending explosive double barrel shotgun
Surprised to not see a Two-Shot Handmade Rifle, Combat Rifle or Assault Rifle here. Some of the best general-use weapons in the game for any build.
I know it has been years, but my favorite weapon I got has to be my instagating sledgehammer. I fully upgraded it. Now combine that with the rooted and big league perks with the fury chem and a yao guai roast. Also with the ninja and blitz perks if you so choose to (with a calmex chem if you can find one).
Heck yeah, Wounding ripper. I lucked out and found one early game. I never put it down. Best weapon
I found an Assasin's Super Sledge on a Super Mutant early game.Also never put it down.I took Kellog down in a couple of hits.
What about the bleeding effect on a radiation gun. Because I got one in Far Harbor at level 83
I have the instigating gauss rifle and it one shots pretty much everything, makes the game pretty trivial especially when you have a lot of perks!
The wounding laser minigun is so op you can bleed and enemy from any distance as laser mini is weirdly accurate plus you can stack that bleeding effect so much even the best enemies bleed to death as soon as you start up
I know the shishkebab is fairly weak but the other day I had a Super mutant drop an irradiated version. I proceeded to name it Toxic scourge. I'm in the process of maxing out nuclear physicist to make this a brutal weapon against humans.

Best I ever had I looted off a trapper at the lighthouse in the south of Far Harbor island. He was standing on the roof of a house next to the lighthouse, and every time I got near I died very quickly.When I finally killed him, I found it was a gatling laser with the radiation effect (+50 per shot, and that's a lot of shots) and a focusing muzzle. I don't use power armor, so I had quite a few fusion cores saved up. I used that gun to tremendous effect for the rest of the game.

I had the additional projectile on my gause rife, it was doing around 860 damage and I was a stealth build doing x4 damage so I could 1 shot pretty much anything

Ive only started playing this game this year, I have the explosive combat shotgun and I gotta say it's definitely one of my favourites and will always be in my inventory. The funniest legendary I have is a nocturnal rolling pin, but it just sits in a container at my settlement

I know I'm late but there are a few weapons that let you do that. Take the artifact off of Lorenzo's artifact gun and put it on any legendary gamma gun. No console commands required.
I don't play with mods and I found a Wounding Mini-Gun recently in some kind of small army place with gouls. To me I'd prefer the wounding Mini-Gun rather than the Explosive Mini-gun.

Anonymous person not way better, just different. Base explosive damage is just 15, and you need 3 perks to make it deal 30, while bleed is always 25. Also it is nice to cover the time in between reloads as the enemy still gets damaged or might even die during your reload

9:35 I actually got a Wounding Combat Shotgun off a legendary enraged fog crawler, which fires 8 pellets, meaning from close range you deal 200 damage to the target along with the 356 that a max perk CB deals.
edit: I also have a Explosive CB :D
After getting my explosive combat shotgun....the game became easy street but damn is it fun! Just...don't shoot it in water.

Adrian Gomez None. Fallout 4 is easy. Anyways, the chameleon legendary deathclaws will be the hardest, even though they are a large target.
stingwing chasers. Fast, tanky, high damage, swarms, and poison. If they hit you, your health will do a reverse stimpak and they will circle you, making it harder to hit them. When you do hit them, they will tank it and it won’t matter. Don’t even get me started on vampiric bloodbugs
You can take them all out the exact same way, just cripple their legs or wings.
A sub machine gun with wounding is really op. I managed to get it in a triggerman base, and you don't need to use a lot of ammo.
Explosive is much better on the plasma gun since the explosive legendary effect applies to every application of damage and plasma guns apply both ballistic and energy. Make the plasma gun a shotgun, so that's six pellets per pull of the trigger, and since each pellet does two sources of damage, that's twelve explosions, and if you hit, that again doubles the damage as it applies the direct damage and the aoe damage from every source of damage from each pellet.
Just don't shoot at your feet.

Also, a furious/explosive gatling laser is basically as powerful if not more powerful than the minigun, allthough fusion cores are pretty expensive

I have found variations of the plasma flamer to be also quite deadly with legendary modifications.
Id just like to point out that the explosive combat shotgun has to be the literal best weapon in the game. It scales with rifleman and demolition expert, sure, but throw a suppressor on that thing and it'll scale with mister sandman as well. Make a sneak build and melt people that are in buildings or close quarters with this, and use that instigating gauss rifle to drop people that are far away. Just a thought.

Wounding shotguns are also quite effective and scale well to late game if you have a Wounding Automatic Combat Shotgun, since wounding is applied to each projectile.

I got an explosive combat shotgun right off the start of my last survival play through. Easy mode, engaged.
Never ending full auto combat shotgun is one of my favorite, the biggest downside of a shotgun is the reload time

explosive submachine gun is one of my favorites. 100 round mag allows you to clear entire rooms.
I have a minigun with the wounding effect. That weapon does 50 total damage per shot, it's so.. so good.
I got an instigating double-barrel shotgun. With advanced receiver and sawed-off barrel, critical hits usually one-shot things like Assaultrons and Mr. Gutsy's. Failing that, it always cripples the attacked limb.
I remember I got a two shot combat shotgun on a automatic only play through, that was really nice.
I was really happy to find the Instigating Gauss Rifle upgraded with shielding
My old main weapons were a VATS enhanced gauss rifle, an explosive double barrel shotgun and tons more but those were my mains
I don’t know what happened, but weapon drops on Normal/Easy during the beginning of a run got me some nice stuff. Mods were installed, but I’ve found an Unending 10mm and an Irradiated Kiloton Rifle for a max intelligence power armor/automatic build
Another way to get the Final Judgement is by doing a quest called "Rockets' Red Glare" where you and Deacon blow up the Prydwen from the inside if you get spotted by the Brotherhood's solders Maxson and two brotherhood solders will be waiting where you meet maxson the first time on the prydwen.

The "violent" and "mighty" legendary effects aren't too bad from my experience. While not quite as effective in the long term like bleed damage or infinite stagger, 25% raw damage increase (+25% raw damage AND limb damage increase for violent) makes some weapons pretty punchy like my 10mm pistol and combat shotgun I got pretty early on.
