What I hate about this fake is that the parts just suddenly falls off and all three necks differ in length. It took me a long damn time to finish recording (〒﹏〒)
I remember when I first got into nendoroids I didn’t know there was such thing as bootleg ones now I just don’t trust any website unless I look at the reviews
Always look for reviews. Especially when buying on sites like Amazon alike.
Bootlegs exist for almost any toy or collector's item. They're very annoying.

@@tunezofbizarre okay so killua arrived and he’s 100% fake, btw i’m not saying it’s your fault because i ordered it before i saw your comment. i’m keeping him because he was cheap and even though he’s kinda hard to look at i still love him already. i have 2 other nendoroids and they’re both authentic and i’ve done a lot of research on what’s real and fake so i know he’s a bootleg. so to anyone else looking at this, if they’re still selling them for $35, it’s fake. (maybe i bought from the wrong seller and there are legit $35 ones out there, who knows, but i think i bought from the right people). but thanks for the reply and everything :)

I live these videos so much! I'm getting my first nendoroid next month and I'm sceptical if it's real or fake. First of all, the price on it was too low. It was only $13 as of the real one is $35. Also, it's made in China. But also with the side of the box, it has the company name, warning sign in the correct place, and has the bar code. But this also could still be a bootleg so idk yet but we'll see!
It has the red flags.. tbh I think it's a fake just for the price alone. Unless they're missing some parts then the price given might be a bit reasonable. 🤔

I got a nendoroid a few days, ago it looks exactly like the real one, but it only has articulation at the shoulders and at the top of the legs and at the feet and head, idk if its just a defect or if its fake

I had a request of this before. I'm sorry I couldn't help you with your todoroki that much since I failed to make a comparison video. But most fakes are the same so you could confirm it right away. Since you already opened it, you can find signs like the ball joint or the base. Those are the easiest to spot

Hi Renier! Good question! I used to open from the top but then, when I plan to resell the figure, it looks a bit bad due to the opening/cut or damaged sticker seal so I now open from the bottom to avoid that. If ever that made sense lol
I was going to buy a bootleg because of money issues. but now after seeing comparisons, I think it's better to save for the original one instead 😂 and it also feels more rewarding
DEFINITELY! 100%! The quality and the durability is way waaay way better than bootlegs! Trust me on this. It's better to save up and buy the original soon than to hurry and buy a fake with bad quality. It has toxins and the parts keep falling off the body. It'll just get you frustrated

Unfortunately the authentic Deku was only lent to me by a friend. If you live in the Philippines tho, I can try and help you. It's sad that some sellers deliberately try to swindle buyers. Atm, I'm having a dispute because I bought Link's original horse for 30usd. When I got it, it is fake because the body is semi-glossy. I complained after I discussed it on facebook. Noone said it is real. The seller insisted it is real and it cost her like usd150 for entire Link DX package.
It is a war that I will lose because she said I could not return it. Im just pissed because for usd35 i can get a whole package of Link bootleg, instead of ONE bootleg horse labelled as real horse.

Kinda sad, I just got the nendo deku for my birthday from my parents and it kept falling apart (the package came destroyed too but overall the whole figure’s hands, legs and head keep falling off)
I had some thought about it maybe being a fake even though the seller didn’t say anything about it being a fake

mine does not have the mha logo and the warning sign is orange, yet the nendoroid looks the exact same as the real one, and a good part is that in still does have the link to the og website!
If all parts are the same from base to stand to body parts, then it's all good. Goodsmile actually recently released a statement that stickers don't confirm authenticity. If you have all green checks on comparisons for the ballpoints, base, and the nendo itself then most probably you have the legit Midoriya 👌🏻

I want to buy a lots of nendoroid for collection. I have money for sure but would you recommend me to buy the fake one ? In my country , 1 nendoroid cost about 46.60 USD . If i buy the fake one , i can use the balance of my money to buy something else
I will never encourage buying fakes. I understand when people buy fake for money issues or when they were given as gift. However, you already said you have enough money to atleast buy the authentic ones so I don't know why you would still choose to buy fakes. Altho yes, if you really want to then ofcourse I don't have any say since it's your money and it might be your preference. 🤷🏻♀️ Personally, I will always choose authentic nendoroids. It's a way to support the figure industry and ofcourse, in respect to those who thought about the idea of the figure and worked hard in making it. ✨
46.60 is what it usually costs. They range from 35-50 depending on the type of nendoroid. If you aim to save, just narrow down your characters instead of buying aimlessly. Say, choose the characters you like more or pick series that you like better than others. Or there is another option, instead of nendoroids, buy figuarts mini by BANDAI. They look cute like nendoroids too and they are cheaper

Try and take note of the release dates of every nendoroid as well. That way, you won't go over a monthly budget if ever you want to set one

I was looking at ailexess and they have miku figures that look real and in reviews they said it was real. And I want to get it but idk
Buy it only if it says it's original on the title and if there's photographic evidence of it on the reviews from other buyers, also buy from sellers with a good review percentages, check their pages and check what other things they offer, check the reviews too, see if someone had any problems. Right now there's a bunch of trustworthy figure sellers on Ali.
As a page policy thing, they can't really claim something is original when it isn't, that's considered a scam. Usually when they sell bootlegs they also describe them as China ver. or Alternative, they're obligated to do so, else you're on your right to ask for a full refund.
I've bought a few figures from AliExpress and so far, nothing out of the ordinary. I recommend choosing Standard Shipping, they take around 3 weeks to arrive, but you gotta always check if they send it with their original retail box or not, and check how they send it too in case you have to request extra packing so the box doesn't get absolutely destroyed in traffic.
Edit: oh! And also, check the respective figure's MFC page and see if there's bootlegs of it, if they are, compare them to the photos getting posted by the reviewers, the differences are always glaring.

I usually buy from an online website named the phantomdibs. But this nendoroid in particular was just lent to me by a friend. It isn't mine. Except for the fake tho
