Final Sail on Our Catalina 22: Exploring Cuttyhunk Island!…Day Dreams (Ep. 8)

- This is our final sail on our Catalina 22. We've cherished this boat, as she’s taken us to so many incredible places, both near and far. We’re deeply grateful for all the adventures we've had with her. But now, it’s time to move up, broaden our horizons, and prepare ourselves with a vessel that can take us further and for longer journeys.
Our last sail on the Stella Theresa brought us to Cuttyhunk, MA, an island off the coast of Massachusetts, about 25 miles from our home port. Spending the last weekend of October there with great friends felt like a dream.
In the winter of 2024, we purchased our new boat, a 32’ International 500 sailboat built in 1966. We spent three months restoring her, focusing on both safety and aesthetics. You’ll get to meet our new boat, the Stella Blue, in the upcoming videos.
I’m working on posting videos more regularly, as we often sail on nights and weekends. I'm also considering ways to become more efficient in creating videos, since many of you really enjoy them. I love reading all your thoughtful comments.

@@willieerwin823 it’s a great boat and I think there are plenty on Craigslist! Fall is a good time to buy because people are motivated to avoid winter storage & fees

@@devtoman cool! She’s a great boat. Yes we are, but during this sail to Cuttyhunk we cracked the bulkhead in the starboard locker. Whomever takes it on would have to be willing to fix that! She’s currently on a trailer in the driveway and not listed yet online
