History of Classic Restaurant/Complex, Denton, NC

100 Year History of The Classic Restaurant Complex in Denton NC, 1916 Foy and Shamwell open Ford co., 1919-1938 R.A. Allen operated Ford Dealer, 1938-44 was Grimes Motor, 1944-82 Hill Motor Co., 1983 Larry Furr bought building from Brack Martin and remolding it including Restaurant in rear of building, Furr operated Mitchell Oil and Sears Catalog Store. Neal and Steve Latham operated Classic Restaurant for a couple yrs. early 90's. Mark Smith started operating Classic in 1993 and bought the building in 2001, Classic Complex Burned Dec. 17th., 2016.
