    In my humble opinion: you build amazing guitars but in my 57 years of playing and having owned over 30 guitars during that time, I must say that this ultra Strat is the most beautiful version of the guitar that I have ever seen. We didn’t get to witness it being played so I can’t speak to it fulfilling every element of my fantasy but still, its beauty has no comparison.

    You are a true craftsman and artist, this is the most beautiful guitar that I have even seen. The gold hardware was the only choice with the warm wood tones. EXCELLENT!

    Great video - thanks so much! I’m having a Strat body built with all of this same stuff you used here. I did not know about the Claw adjusting mechanism from Schaller though so I ordered one straight away. It’s a beautiful finished look for sure.

      Oh my pleasure, as I mentioned to you I have the same hardware, well it’s almost the same. Schaller was making this in what I believe they called ‘vintage copper’ ( kinda bronze looking too ) it’s beautiful. It took me quite a while to find everything because I’ve read that they stopped making all of this in that finish sadly. I had to order a few parts from Germany & France too. I do wish they still made the bridge, tuners etc.. in this finish though, I can’t see people not wanting it to be honest.
      Thanks again, great video really.

    • @TommySG1
      @TommySG1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, The one I’m making here is ( I am only assembling it, I’m having Texas Toast cut me a one-piece body out of Swamp Ash ) a Swamp Ash body which will be painted Mary Kay White and a solid rosewood neck I purchased from Fender and then all the Schaller vintage copper hardware of course 👍

    When drilling holes in the neck at about 6:34 , I would put a towel between the sanding radius block and the fretboard to avoid scratching the frets

    • @BaradaGuitars

    This was a great series of videos and the guitar would be a pleasure to own. I don't think I would have made the same decision as you did when it came to the pickup rings not fitting and I am sure you were more than a little disappointed having to do that so the show could move forward. It just goes to show how hard it is to get everything fitting right on a hand built instrument with some ordered parts. This is not something that can't be addressed and I know you will remain aware and learn for the future builds that you do.
    Well done my friend

    I think the issue with your single coil pickup rings is that they're for a Telecaster neck pickup, which is much smaller than a Stratocaster single coil pickup.

Otherwise I watched all your videos from the start of your build, and you have done very well at building from scratch a very very beautiful and precise and high quality hand built Guitar and IMO what I think a Super Strat should be and worthy of bragging rights. Good job dude. Clap clap.
