I agree. Investor lobby acted same way in 2010 to 2013 and after that they were not able to exit. Some of them booked 4 units when they had money for only 1 and after that they were not able to exit. I witnessed that and I knew that same pattern is repeating now. Even now many will sell units in loss. End users must keep their eyes open, now they can get very good deals
This is real estate cycle. When market sentiments are good and inventory is limited, prices go up and builders start increasing prices to make more money. When sentiments start dropping and inventory increases, market has to correct and price growth slows and then stagnates. Would be interesting to see what will happen when market gets flooded with inventory and investors fail to hold properties.
