    Great tutorial. That you are using a tattoo style design for this makes so much sense.

    Small world - I found you through corter, saw the ‘lonsdale’ on your mat and thought cool - thats where I get most of my stuff. And then listening to you speak of buckskin was even stranger. I’m also super close to them. Hello fellow islander! ❤️

    Melissa; Have you ever tried printing your design directly to laser print plastic? There are a ton of options that will go through a laser printer. Just to save a bit of time. Your tracing is the traditional method. Nothing wrong with it.

    • @dadhands
      @dadhands  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t, I don’t personally own a laser printer. I have loads of this plastic, so I’m happy to trace it by hand, keeps the drawing muscles sharp ☺️

    So helpful, thank you so much!! I’ve done a bit of tooling before but your collab with corter leather got me back into it. Would love to see a skull too so I can make something for mu nephew :)

    Thanks for another informative video. I love the knife you use. The regular one doesn't feel right. I'll be looking into it. Also nice tats lol. My friend loves angel wings. Maybe that's another one fur a future video

    This was so good! So informative. I’ve seen a lot of carving videos but yours has a these little nuggets of info my brain never even considered. Especially the casing ! Why have I never thought of tape or the glass slicker 🤯. Thank you so much for this! Look forward to more of your tutorials 🖤🤘. Also , I might of missed it but what clear coat do you use? Cheers ! And thank you 🤩🖤

      Thank you SO much ☺️ I’ve used a few different cleat coats, but have been digging the Angelus high gloss cut 50/50 with water.

    What's the name of the Drag Knife? You're using??
    I've got a regular swivel knife but I would like to try the style knife You're using.
    My plotter/cutter uses a "drag knife" hence the name I used trying to describe your cutting tool.. LoL 😆
    Thank You for sharing Your Talent and Video.
    My Niece Page just asked me yesterday about making a rose for Her in memory of Her Mom (who just recently passed away on the 20th of June)
    Thanks Again for Sharing!! ❤️

    This looks amazing! Is the pattern still available anywhere? I clicked the link but it doesn't seem to be working..

      Thank you for your kind words :) It is currently unavailable, sadly I couldn't afford to keep my website active. Perhaps in the future. These techniques would work great on any picture of a rose though.
